Nara Dan smiled,
"Looks like you can't wait, Clone."
"Actually, I think Machi's body is pretty nice..."
"At least she's a legal loli."
Machi's expression was cold,
"Enough nonsense."
"This body is only a Mortal Body, unlike your Transcendent Divine Body. It's been tainted by a Cursed Object. Even if it can hold out for now,"
"it's only a matter of time before the curse consumes it completely."
"Now that we have the World Tree, it's good for both of us."
Hearing this, Nara Dan replied meaningfully,
"So now it's 'both of us,' is it?"
"Looks like your independent will is getting stronger and stronger..."
"Are you going to turn on your original body one of these days?"
Machi's expression remained cold. Nara Dan had only been teasing her. Turning on him and the like was obviously impossible for a Split Soul—not that this was one of the Three Souls and Seven Spirits, but merely a Divine Thought.
Still, ever since this Split Soul had merged with the power that embodied the essence of Yin-Yang Release, its intelligence had indeed become richer.
Compared to its former rigidity—or, rather, its unquestioning obedience—Machi could now think independently to a growing degree, and she would occasionally speak with Nara Dan from a different perspective.
Yin-Yang Release was itself a divine power capable of creating something from nothing and performing Mediation and Creation. Nourished by the essence of Chakra's Yin-Yang Release, Machi's mind was becoming more and more complete.
Given enough time, Machi might even perfect her own soul and form an independent Three Souls and Seven Spirits, becoming Nara Dan's true External Incarnation.
By then, Machi would no longer be an adjunct of Nara
