"That guy should be dead, right?"
"He took a direct hit from Pluton..."
"Have CP0 go down and retrieve the body."
"If we're lucky, there might still be something left of it."
The Five Elders spoke with complete confidence. No matter how much of a Steel Balloon he was, or whether he had an Immortal Body, a direct hit from Pluton would naturally reduce him to dust.
Only Imu continued to stare at the bottomless ravine, brows slightly furrowed. He had a hunch that the man wouldn't go down so easily.
"Whoosh!"
Suddenly, something stirred in the ravine. The air churned and boiled within it, as if a Category 14 hurricane had sprung up!
An enormous volume of air was abruptly displaced, and an unmatched force, carried by a blast of wind, slammed into Imu!
"Boom!"
Imu had been prepared. A transparent suit of energy armor appeared around him, protecting him from harm, but the punch's wind pressure was strong enough to blow away mountains, and it sent him flying.
After flying at top speed for about half a second, Imu summoned Pluton's power in midair to slow his momentum. But a shadow followed close behind, looming over Imu's reflective armor.
"Boom!"
Nara Dan grinned viciously as he threw a punch. Behind him, the charred marks had almost completely healed.
"Crack!"
The transparent armor around Imu shattered with a roar. The blow, imbued with the tremendous strength of an ancient dragon elephant, struck Imu in the chest.
Imu, still wearing the Pluton Armor, plunged down like a meteor, shaking the Red Line and leaving a vast crater in its surface.
Dan pressed his advantage, swooping down to the ground. He brought down a godlike kick, and the wind it raised alone was enough to uproot deep-rooted trees.
"Bang!"
"Rumble, rumble..."
