This is my second time going premium, and I'm still pretty nervous.
Tiger started writing novels on a whim, really. At the time, the small company I'd invested in ran into some conflicts, and I lost my job.
With the pandemic going on, I spent a long time trying different things without making any money. I'd also been a reader for nine years, so I thought I'd try writing to support my family. If I could reach an average of 500 readers, that would be enough to give it a shot.
I didn't expect it to do better than I'd hoped. It passed a thousand average readers and later even made it onto the premium list, enjoying a brief spell of popularity.
But this was Tiger's first novel, and my writing skills weren't quite up to the task. I ran out of steam later on.
After that, I struggled to keep a steady mindset and the plot on track, so I decided to start a new book this year.
There was actually another book in between, one about Homelander. Its performance was pretty decent, but I caught COVID, missed updates during the new-book period, and lost readers, so I had no choice but to drop it.
That really took a toll on my morale and mental state.
I'd had the idea for this book for a long time. I put much more effort into developing the plot and honing my writing, especially the idea of transmigrating into the third generation. I think it's better than my last book.
I still hope all my readers will make a first purchase. If you can, please support the official release. It'll give Tiger some motivation and help me support my family.
I'll post at least 14,000 words when it goes premium, then 6,000–8,000
