The Curtain Falls (Part 1)

Bolts of wild thunder crashed as snow-bright lightning split heaven and earth. The closer they got to Chen Zhao's laboratory, the more violent the weather became. Some enormous energy field dominated the weather here. As expected of Chen Zhao, the greatest scientist of the past century—even as he left this world, his final moments still shook the heavens and earth!

The hurricane howled across the desert, sounding like thousands upon thousands of ghosts crying out. The wind lifted even the wet sand from the ground, sending a vast sandstorm whirling through the air. Together with the rain constantly splashing against the windows, it was nearly impossible to see anything outside the car. The wildly swinging wipers were completely useless. The SUV felt as though it had plunged headfirst into the Yellow River, advancing through muddy yellow water.
