"Let's go!"
No one hesitated any longer. They turned into streaks of light and surged like a tide through the open tomb gate.
The instant they stepped inside, everyone froze.
Beyond the gate lay no passage, nor any coffin.
There was a vast world without end.
The sky stretched high above sparse stars. Mountains and rivers crossed the boundless land as far as the eye could see.
An ancient, desolate aura washed over them, leaving them dazed, as though one step had carried them back to primordial times.
"A tomb contains an entire world..."
Someone let out a startled sigh.
The group steadied themselves and headed deeper into the world.
But the way was far from easy. The first obstacle was a stretch of deadly space-time turbulence.
The void ahead collapsed without warning, becoming a chaos-colored vortex.
The turbulence spun in silence. A cultivator walking too quickly was caught at its edge; before he could even scream, half his body turned to ash.
Everyone retreated in horror. They brought out their finest treasures for protection and cautiously followed a narrow strip of stable ground between the currents before making it through.
The second obstacle was a series of imprints left by battles.
They hung in midair, their light and shadows shifting.
As the group drew near, the imprints suddenly flared. Fragmented scenes appeared within them: the Little Stone Emperor fighting across the heavens and slaying powerful foes in days long past.
A sword flashed, and a king spilled blood. A fist fell, and a world split open.
Though only imprints remained, the murderous intent within them still chilled the soul.
Several cultivators whose resolve was weak turned deathly pale under its assault. They stumbled back and dared go no farther.
The third obstacle was the most dangerous, and the quietest.
