The court suppressed the universe, and the Ten Thousand Races submitted to it. Emperor and Underworld Venerable also built the Ninety-Nine Dragon Mountains as a cultivation sacred land for the court 129 181 278.

After encountering an immortal spirit and learning of the Immortal Realm, Emperor planned to use the Immortal Ascension Cauldron to refine the Human Realm and lead the Heavenly Court in ascension. Heavenly Venerables turned against him; Longevity Heavenly Venerable believed they had witnessed the destruction of Emperor’s soul and the shattering of his cauldron 256 257.

Wang Xuan later revealed that Emperor had staged his death. He discovered formation patterns spread across the universe, which he identified as Emperor’s means of refining the Human Realm.
