Several twists and turns seemed to have occurred along the way. The two continued onward, but even after walking for quite a while, they encountered no other figures.
"Young Master, these past few days, the tiny Buddha imprints in my mind seem to be fighting each other. I really can't digest it all."
Halfway along the road, the Divine Crocodile finally spoke.
"This Star Road stretches on without end. You'll always be able to digest it slowly. But if you truly can't bear it, you can speak to that phantom of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva in your mind. Perhaps he has some way to restrain it."
Ye Tian said.
Several days ago, the Divine Crocodile had already mentioned to him that the golden little figures in his mind seemed to be fighting.
Ye Tian guessed that this was the result of the Buddhist Dharma within his body beginning to cultivate on its own.
Yet the Divine Crocodile had suddenly told him that he could no longer endure the little figures fighting in his mind. The various spells constantly flooding into his sea of consciousness were too much for him to digest at once, giving him the sensation that he was about to burst apart.
It was not until the Divine Crocodile summoned the phantom of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva from his mind that the problem was resolved, temporarily calming those golden little figures.
"It has been a long time since I appeared upon this road. I never expected this ancient path to have become such a desolate sight."
The Ksitigarbha phantom began looking around. Apart from the surrounding stars, there was nothing worth seeing. Beneath them, the road extended into a stretch of void, with nothing else beyond it.
"When did Senior come here back then? What was different about it?"
Ye Tian asked.
