The distant rift slowly approached. Though it was not fast, Ye Tian had no point of leverage and could not move, making it difficult to evade.

Ye Tian calmed himself and sensed his own body as he considered a solution.

He had carelessly been sucked into this space. Unable to use spiritual energy and covered in wounds, he found it difficult to control his body's movements.

On top of that, his clothes were tattered and his magical treasures had been lost. It was truly snow upon frost. He was now like grass without roots, left for others to carve as they pleased.

As he drifted through the void, scattered weapons glowing with faint fluorescence floated past him. With only a glance at their shapes, Ye Tian knew they were not forces he could withstand.

None of that mattered. What mattered now was how to resist the calamity before him.

So many weapons bore mottled traces of age. Someone must have left them here once, or perhaps they too had been sucked into this space, only to vanish somewhere unknown, leaving their weapons floating behind. Perhaps he could make use of them.

From the corner of his eye, Ye Tian spotted a black lotus-shaped lamp, rusted and mottled, slowly flying toward him from nearby.

The black Lotus Lamp was covered in marks. A piece was even missing from one side, leaving a notch. A faint light still flickered within its wick, yet it did not radiate any overly powerful aura.

A strange light flashed through Ye Tian's eyes, and in the blink of an eye, he had an idea.

He measured the distance to the black lamp with his gaze, then looked at the distance to the black rift.
