Ye Tian could not help but sigh.
So many cultivators had entered the Small World behind the light curtain, yet only a scant few had returned.
The calamity of the three moons emerging together had indeed been formidable.
The group stopped at the entrance. There was hardly anyone left there either; it seemed they were the last group to leave.
"I'll go out first. Hua Chi and Kong Gang will carry Hao Kang and follow behind. Lao Gao, stay at the rear and cover us." Ye Tian arranged the order of their departure. Among them, only Ye Tian had truly defeated that black giant monster. If he encountered one first, he could at least resist it for a while.
Most of the spiritual energy he had expended in the plaza had already recovered. Coupled with the Meteorite Sword in his hand, whose true strength he could not discern, while he could not remain locked in battle with that black giant monster for long, he still had a way to hold off the attack temporarily and let the others escape first.
No one objected. Ye Tian turned and took the lead, the Meteorite Sword silently appearing in his hand. Yu Huachi and Kong Gang stood on either side of Hao Kang, each wrapping one arm around his waist while keeping their other hands free in case a giant monster attacked.
"Go." With Ye Tian's command, he was the first to dart into the light curtain.
Yet once he steadied himself outside, he saw that the black giant monsters were still there, fighting the cultivators. A crescent moon was embroidered on the backs of those cultivators' robes; they appeared to be citizens of Moon Worship City.
No one dared linger in battle. All of them desperately broke free from the monsters' attack
