"Bang!" The force behind that strike was immense. With one blow, the entire ground shattered, and even the cavern trembled three times.
Ye Tian believed there had to be some kind of restriction here. Otherwise, the cavern would surely have collapsed by now.
Fortunately, that strike had not hit him. Had he been a step later or a step earlier, Ye Tian would have been ruthlessly cleaved into the ground, whether by the earth or the blade.
The stone statue seemed to notice that Ye Tian was currently standing atop it. It gripped its sword with both hands and viciously stabbed at the stone thigh where Ye Tian stood.

But the attack was too powerful. Though Ye Tian escaped quickly, he was still struck by fragments of light emitted by the deep-blue gemstone. Blue crystals grew from his arm, impossible to pull off, as if they had rooted themselves there, somewhat restricting his movements.
"It seems this giant statue has stood here for many years. The restrictions upon it have already become fragmented, losing much of their spirituality." Ye Tian's gaze darkened as he watched the statue slowly pull its greatsword from its own body.
Though the stone statue had lost one leg, it did not hinder its continued attacks.
Seeing this, Ye Tian climbed onto the statue's head in three steps, landing right atop its nose.
