Ye Tian entered the Teleportation Array and went through it for quite some time before waking from a great dream. He found himself in a desolate ancient city. Everything around him was barren and silent. The dark yellow earthen walls looked utterly ruined, their bases covered in deep-red moss. Most of the moss traces had already dried up like rust stains, making the place seem even more dilapidated, as though the walls could be pushed down with the slightest exertion.

Ye Tian spread out his divine sense, yet he discovered neither people nor demon beasts. It was as if he were the only living creature in this world, making the place exceptionally strange.

Even stranger things followed. This world seemed to have no distinction between day and night. Time appeared to have Stagnated here, and even the source of the light was unknown.

Something must have happened in this world of space, for it seemed that all time had stopped here. He recalled that before encountering the Phoenix in the Space-Time Realm, many people had also been fleeing from something. Perhaps those people, or people like them, had originally lived here but were ultimately forced to abandon this place and use the Space-Time Realm to seek another suitable place to live.

Since this place was so desolate and had been abandoned, it must have contained dangers or conditions unfit for survival. Yet since people had been able to leave, there had to be a Teleportation Array here, just as there was elsewhere. His most urgent task was to find it.

Ye Tian walked through the ancient city for quite some time, then climbed a watchtower and looked into the distance. After surveying the surroundings from atop the tower, his expression turned grave.
