To make up for Rock Lee's wounded heart, Houka not only taught him the Leaf Whirlwind, but even passed down the Leaf Great Whirlwind. Though the Leaf Great Whirlwind was essentially just an enhanced version of the Leaf Whirlwind, it was the thought—and the quantity—that counted.

"Being uneducated is terrifying." Houka shot him a disdainful look, then ran over to Rock Lee and praised him enthusiastically.
