Houka smiled as he patted Kakashi on the shoulder. "Kakashi, we're outsiders after all, and Earth Grudge Fear belongs to Takigakure. We'd better not meddle in their affairs."
"But—" Kakashi was about to argue when Houka cut him off.
"At worst, another Kakuzu will appear. The weaknesses of Earth Grudge Fear are already known throughout the Ninja World. Lord Shizuki is a smart man—how could he recklessly kill people and make an enemy of the entire Ninja World?" Houka looked at Shizuki with a smile. "Right, Lord Shizuki?"
"Of course!" Shizuki cried out excitedly. "I'm not Kakuzu! I absolutely won't casually attack ordinary civilians!"
"See? See? Lord Shizuki is so noble and understanding. Kakashi, stop yammering on and on here." Houka said.
"..." Kakashi glared at Houka with one dead-fish eye. "Hey, hey, why does it feel like I'm doing something utterly heinous now?"
"That's exactly what it is. This is their village's business; as outsiders, we shouldn't interfere." Houka said righteously.
"Fine. I won't involve myself in the matter of Earth Grudge Fear anymore. But if I find out someone is using it for evil..." The threat in Kakashi's words was unmistakable.
Shizuki, however, breathed a sigh of relief.
If Uchiha Houka and Kakashi joined forces to seize Earth Grudge Fear, Takigakure simply would not be able to keep it!
"Alright, Kakuzu is dead, and the ritual is over. Let's all go home and find our mothers." Houka waved a hand and turned to leave. "Lord Shizuki, I'll leave this place to you."
"Thank you so much for this!" Shizuki thanked him once again.
Houka suddenly turned to look at Deidara and smiled. "Deidara, don't forget to pack up and take away all those 'artworks'
