2015 NBA Free Agency Market

Life was just that wonderful. When you were disappointed in some areas, you would always find satisfaction in others.

Everyone now knew that next year would be a year of exploding contracts. Many players with player options chose to exercise them in hopes of landing a big contract next summer.

But even so, there was no shortage of big fish in this year's Free Agency Market.

The first tier included James, who had already announced he would opt out of his player option, Aldridge, and Marc Gasol.

All three first-tier players were Unrestricted Free Agents and the top targets for every team with cap space.

There were more players in the second tier, and many of them were Restricted Free Agents.

The 2011 draft had now proven to be an absolute draft bonanza. Aside from Irving and Klay Thompson, who had already signed extensions early, Kawhi Leonard and Jimmy Butler were both reaching the end of their contracts that summer.

Just like Tang Tian back then, they were now Restricted Free Agents, and their original teams could match any offer from other teams.

Besides them, there were also plenty of second-tier stars, with Jordan, Green Drummond, and Love all being highly sought-after players.

There were even more third-tier players: Rondo, Brandon Knight, Reggie Jackson, Dragic, Whiteside, Monta Ellis, Matthews, Pierce, Tristan Thompson, Monroe, Milsap, Lopez, Hibbert, and Harris.

All of them were highly competitive players.
