After the FOX reporter finished asking, everyone else turned to look at Whiteside in unison.
Whiteside said nothing and merely nodded.

All the reporters' eyes widened, as if Magellan had discovered a new continent!

FOX reporters loved stirring things up. They had twisted his meaning and then asked the loaded question of whether Tang Tian was a stat padder. Anyone with eyes could see it was a trap.
An ordinary person would definitely shake their head and deny it upon hearing that question. Even someone slow to react would at least say, "That's not what I said."
But Whiteside had actually nodded!
It was such an obvious trap, yet he had jumped right in!
