"When I was little, my mom bought me a bag of candy. The packaging was really fancy, and it had a long shelf life. I wanted to eat it so badly, but Mom said I should wait until I was grown up."
Lin Yilin turned around, clasped her hands behind her back, and walked ahead.
"Then, after a long time, I finally got to eat that candy."
"Was it sweet?"
"It was really sweet and delicious."
Lin Yilin stopped and nodded firmly. Then she said nothing more.
She stood there for a while before turning her head. Her eyes were a little red, but her gaze was exceptionally bright.
