The End—time to scatter flowers.
Thank you all for your support. The main story of this book ended here.
Four months of serialization, three hundred chapters, seven hundred thousand words—it was the first book I ever finished writing.
Actually, the outline had to be changed midway through for personal reasons, so I had no choice but to speed up the later pacing.
The original outline had been planned for a million words. I'd intended to add some drawn-out melodrama involving Department Head's parents, Yu Songsong's trip for two, Zhang Juntang's backstory, and some everyday scenes of Little Su and Department Head easing back into their relationship.
All of those plotlines were cut, along with the younger sister arc. A moment of silence.

So in reality, I was actually a well-behaved, honest person who kept to himself.
Readers who followed my Fox Demon work knew I wrote perfectly normally.
This book was like opening the back door to a new world for me. It
