After a while, Takanashi Shiori looked at her classmates, who all seemed to be having fun, and murmured softly.
This was her first time taking part in an activity like this since coming to the human world.
Going out to have fun with so many people, then eating lunch together.
"Takanashi, when you were in R'lyeh... did you never take part in activities like this?"
Sakaki Chika lowered her head, secretly lifting her eyes to look at the other students as well.
"There were similar ones, but no one really ate lunch with me."
She did not have many friends at the Magic Academy. She was alone in class and alone at meals. Though she had long since gotten used to it, she still felt a little down now and then.

"It's roughly divided into four academies, based on different schools of magic. I'm a student of Bird Academy, for example."
