Five Years

Half a day later, Shen Long and Chu Buyu emerged from a nine-story cyan pavilion, and Li Qing hurried over to greet them.

"You need not accompany us for the rest of our journey."

Shen Long took out ten Mid-Grade Spirit Stones and handed them to Li Qing.

By then, the sky had darkened, while the Marketplace was brilliantly lit.

This was the residence they had rented. They would settle down first.

Chu Buyu took out a round Cyan Token and flicked her wrist. The token shot out a streak of cyan light that disappeared into Green Cicada Pavilion. The doors opened, and they entered before closing them behind them.

Shen Long took out several maps, laid them on the ground, and examined them.

"My great opportunity lies in a mountain range thick with vegetation, and the range has the character 'qilin' in its name. That won't be easy to find."

Chu Buyu's willow-leaf brows knitted tightly.

Place names could change. It might have borne that name a thousand years ago, but not necessarily a thousand years later, making the search even more difficult.
