Background

Chu Buyu was raised in the Sun and Moon Palace, one of the eight major factions of the North Sea Cultivation World. Known as Fairy Xiyue, she was a disciple of Song Lianyue, the Moon Palace Master, and a candidate for the next Palace Master. She was also ranked fifteenth on the Hundred Flowers Ranking. 177 200

As a Core Formation cultivator, she encountered Shen Long in the Outer Sea after he helped her subdue a Golden Thunder Eagle. Refusing to owe him a favor, she gave him the Demon Core of a Third-Rank Fire Carp Beast as payment. 177

During the Five Dragons Secret Realm incident, Chu Buyu discovered the complete Nine Transformations Dragon Transformation Technique. Cultivators of the Three Immortals Sect pursued her under the belief that she had obtained a Spirit Treasure. While battling Alien Spirit Transmutation cultivators in Fire Yang Valley, an enemy’s self-destruction created a black hole that swallowed Chu Buyu. She awakened in a sealed space with resources and information connected to the Four Seas Sect, then chose to cultivate there until she reached Spirit Transmutation Mid Stage. 592 593

Chu Buyu later ascended to the Lingxu Realm and joined the Divine Weapon Sect after finding no trace of the Sun and Moon Palace’s predecessors. Personality

Chu Buyu is independent, cautious, and strongly principled about repaying debts. After Shen Long aided her against the Golden Thunder Eagle, she immediately compensated him with a Demon Core, stating that she disliked owing others. 177

She is resolute under pressure. While pursued in the Five Dragons Secret Realm, she swore an Inner Demon oath to preserve her life, threatened to drag Shen Long down with her if he betrayed their agreement, and continued seeking a route out despite the danger. 196 198

Although guarded toward strangers, Chu Buyu develops deep loyalty toward those who prove trustworthy.
