Thunder Dragon Step
A close-quarters combat secret technique. By controlling the flow of time, it achieves the goal of influencing the speed of enemies or oneself, as well as one's own movement techniques; it requires the Thunder Dragon Bloodline and stepping into the threshold of the Thunder Law to cultivate. It has only three levels of mastery.
This secret technique consists of only three levels.
The first level involves manifesting a phantom image and causing the flow of time in a small area to fluctuate, representing the entry-level of Thunder Dragon Step; one must cross the threshold of the Time Law to cultivate it.
The second level involves a thousand phantom images, representing the minor success of Thunder Dragon Step. It allows for time acceleration, providing a slight boost to speed and achieving the effect of gaining an advantage while the opponent falters.
The third level, Thunder Step, enables time acceleration within a certain space. For instance, by applying time acceleration to oneself, one can achieve speeds comparable to teleportation, representing the great success of the secret technique.
"Thunder Dragon Fall is a long-range attack secret technique, and Thunder Dragon Step is a movement-based attack technique. Could it be that there are also area-of-effect attack techniques?" Li Yilin gasped.
The system was far more omnipotent than he had imagined; he couldn't help but wonder if the system contained a complete inheritance.
So far, the items bestowed by the system were all related to the "Thunder Dragon." Could it be that the "Thunder Dragon" was the creator of the system?
This thought flashed through Li Yilin's mind for less than a second before he cast it aside.
Regardless of who the creator of the system was or what their ultimate goal might be, it was not something a Domain Lord like him, who hadn't even solved the problem of his own lifespan, could know. It was better to just cultivate steadily for now.
Noah Universe Kingdom.
Deep within the starry sky of an unknown, hidden secret realm, there existed a vast Divine Kingdom within a "spatial fold."
This immensely vast Divine Kingdom was the location of the Zerg infiltration organization.
Inside the Divine Kingdom, atop a massive mountain peak, stood a palace tens of thousands of kilometers high. Inside the magnificent, golden palace:
"Master, most of our forces arranged within the Lulun Empire have been uprooted." A low voice echoed through the silent palace.
"Oh?" Above the throne, the gentle voice of the Mother Empress Nayue drifted down, "What happened?"
"The Domain Lord native of Wunuo Star obtained the title of 'Giant Axe Warrior,' and the Giant Axe Arena returned Wunuo Star to that native. Our people were worried that if he returned to Wunuo Star, he would discover something unusual, so they sent men to intercept and kill him." Yike knelt on the ground, eyes lowered, filled with reverence.
"Unexpectedly, that native had connections with the manager of the Giant Axe Arena—Sawatdee. Sawatdee has the Red Blood King backing him... He actually used the influence of the Red Blood King to investigate, and our people were discovered."
"Fortunately, we cut off control of Wunuo Star in time, and all those who knew the truth were killed... The Giant Axe Arena shouldn't know our true identity, but they must be suspicious. I have already ordered everyone in the Lulun Empire to withdraw and not to clash with the people of the Giant Axe Arena..."
The Zerg were not like the Machine Race; cultivating powerful, talented Zerg warriors inevitably consumed a vast amount of precious resources.
Wunuo Star was an indigenous planet with abundant resources that his subordinates had discovered by chance. He had intended to develop some influence there to please his Master. He hadn't expected the native to be so decisive; upon discovering that his home planet had been noticed by cosmic forces, he had resolutely sold himself to the Giant Axe Arena just to protect his home planet.
With the Master's orders in place, he could not clash with the forces of the Giant Axe Arena. If he ruined the Master's plans, not even ten thousand deaths could compensate for it. But the resources of Wunuo Star were so precious and vast that his subordinates were unwilling to just give them up, which led to the covert operations on Wunuo Star over the last thirty thousand years.
Although the Giant Axe Arena did not know that Wunuo Star was involved with them, given the influence of the Giant Axe Arena among humanity, ordinary forces would never dare to provoke them. Since they had repeatedly danced on the head of the Arena, the Arena would definitely be suspicious.
"What you have described was merely an unexpected gain; if it must be abandoned, then so be it." Nayue's voice remained gentle, "The most important thing is not to let our existence be discovered."
"Our mission in the Noah Universe Kingdom is far more important than the resources of a single planet."
A little bit of E-grade metal brought her no benefit, but if it ruined the plan, it would cost her a hundred or a thousand times more.
"Yes."
Virtual Universe.
As soon as Yike walked into the castle, Bertin rushed up to greet her.
"Teacher." Bertin fell to his knees with a thud, his face full of self-reproach.
Walking straight past him to sit on the throne above, Yike lowered her eyes to look at the kneeling eldest disciple, her slender, fair fingers tapping gently on the armrest, her gaze indifferent.
"You have disappointed me too much." A cold light flashed through her eyes, as if she were looking not at her own disciple, but at a stranger who could be wiped out at any moment, "A World Lord failing to assassinate a Domain Lord—have you cultivated your skills into the belly of a beast?"
"It is all this disciple's stupidity." Bertin lowered his head, cold sweat seeping from his forehead, not daring to argue.
"Hmph!"
Leaving the teacher's castle and returning to his villa, Bertin looked at the empty hall and swung his sleeve violently.
"Snap!"
"Clang, clang, clang..."
The exquisite ornaments on the table were swept off, shattering instantly across the floor, leaving the once clean and tidy ground covered in sharp fragments of all sizes.
"Crack!" Grinding a piece of debris under his toe, accompanied by a crisp crunching sound, Bertin's face turned gloomy.
"Li Yilin!" He clenched his fists tightly, the joints creaking loudly. Rage assaulted his reason, and his eyes turned bloodshot.
"How dare you play me, causing me to be reprimanded by my teacher and even told that I am a disappointment—sooner or later, I will kill you!!!"
Virtual Universe.
Noah Island.
The independent space belonging to the "Noah Branch" of the Giant Axe Arena.
In an exquisite villa, three humans with distinct appearances sat opposite one another.
"Li Yilin has given up the metal ore resources on Wunuo Star... and handed full authority over to us at the Martial Arena. What do you think?" Lord Luojia looked toward his two friends.
"The kid is clever, kicking the ball right back into our court." Lord Guden let out a scoff.
"He wouldn't have survived long enough to earn the title of Giant Axe Warrior if he weren't clever." Lord Lance chuckled and shook his head, picking up a drink from the table to pour himself a glass.
"The Virtual Universe values the Leimai Galaxy, where Wunuo Star is located, at around 230 billion Universe Coins, while the metal ore on Wunuo Star alone is valued at over 10,000 Hunyuan Units. And that's without even considering the discovery of the E6 Grade Metal, Wunuo Essence... In short, trading the Leimai Galaxy for the metal resources of Wunuo Star is a steal!" Lord Luojia said unhurriedly.
"It's just that the kid demanded that when we mine the metal resources on Wunuo Star, we must not affect the lifespan of the planet or damage it... To fill the voids left by the mining, we'll need to invest at least five Hunyuan Units worth of resources. It's truly a bit painful to part with." Lord Luojia shook his head, his tone filled with regret.
"One shouldn't be too greedy." Lord Guden sneered, "An investment of less than five Hunyuan Units in exchange for a return of over 10,000 Hunyuan Units—even if the majority of the profit goes to the Martial Arena, we're still making a fortune just from the scraps."
"His demands were already quite low. He gave up Wunuo Star and all its benefits just to protect the Wutuo Clan. Luojia, you really should change that stingy nature of yours." After glancing at Luojia, Lord Lance said slowly.
"Li Yilin is already a Domain Lord at the age of forty thousand. Who can say for sure that his future achievements won't surpass yours or mine?" Guden added as well.
"Offending him too deeply is not a good thing."
Being lectured by both friends, Luojia's expression turned sheepish.
Dark Universe.
A spaceship shuttled aimlessly through an ocean of "points of light."
Inside the spaceship control room.
Inside the World Ring.
Li Yilin floated in mid-air, holding the horn of the Heaven-Swallowing Bull Beast, his expression shifting uncertainly.
"Should I use it or not?" Touching the flame patterns on the horn, Li Yilin's face was full of hesitation.
He didn't know its genetic level, wasn't clear on its innate inheritance, and didn't even know its origin; he only knew its name.
Using it to gestate a Clone was even more thrilling than gambling!
