Background / History
Qian Daoliu is Qian Renxue’s grandfather and a senior authority in Spirit Hall. When she sought information about the unfamiliar soul beast Yu, even he could not identify it 12 13.
He entered the Spirit Master Tournament confrontation after Xiao Yu had gravely injured Bibi Dong and seized Chrysanthemum and Ghost Douluo. Qian Daoliu tried to negotiate, then attacked when Xiao Yu killed the two Douluo. Xiao Yu broke his Angel Judgment with an ice-and-fire taiji diagram and injured him 68. Qian Daoliu later saved the critically wounded Bibi Dong by forcibly teleporting them to the Worship Hall, where he channeled Soul Power into her while six worshippers defended them 69 70.
When Qian Renxue stood between Xiao Yu and her family, Qian Daoliu objected to her feelings for a soul beast and refused to let her sacrifice herself for his survival. Xiao Yu spared him but destroyed Bibi Dong’s cultivation 71 72. After Bibi Dong became a vessel for Rakshasa divine power, Qian Daoliu briefly clashed with her, sealed her chamber, and opened the Angel God Trials for the returning Qian Renxue 79.
Months later, Xiao Yu appeared in the Worship Hall during Qian Renxue’s trial. Qian Daoliu maintained the ritual but was shocked to find that Xiao Yu had become divine. When Xiao Yu moved to confront Bibi Dong underground, Qian Daoliu attacked at full strength and failed to stop him. He and Qian Renxue subsequently witnessed Bibi Dong’s annihilation 89 90 91 93.
