Ichinose Honami was still having decent luck. The card she drew from Horikita Suzune still didn't make a pair.
Horikita Suzune, however, wasn't so lucky. The card she drew paired with one in her hand, and she was eliminated.
Watching Horikita Suzune discard her cards, Sakayanagi Arisu smiled. "Looks like your luck has run out, Classmate Horikita."
Horikita Suzune said nothing. She simply rose and left with a dark expression.
When it was Sakayanagi Arisu's turn to draw, she pretended to ponder her choice. "Let's see. Which card should I take? This one? Or this one?"
As she pointed at the cards, she secretly watched Ryuen Kakeru's expression.
But Ryuen Kakeru remained as impatient as ever. "Sakayanagi, just pick a card already! Don't waste time!"
"You're quite rude to a lady, Classmate Ryuen." Sakayanagi Arisu chuckled. "I'll take this one, then."
Unfortunately, she didn't draw the Joker. Instead, she made a pair.
"How unfortunate." Sakayanagi Arisu feigned disappointment and tossed the pair onto the table.
By then, Uesugi Hara had picked up the few cards left in his hand.
Ryuen Kakeru drew a card at random as usual. This time, he wasn't as lucky as before and had to discard a pair.
The situation at the table was now:
Uesugi Hara 3--Ichinose Honami 3--Sakayanagi Arisu 2--Ryuen Kakeru 2
The third round ended.

The Joker ended up in Sakayanagi Arisu's hand, eliminating Ryuen Kakeru.
Since Sakayanagi Arisu was seated to Uesugi Hara's left, there was no need to change seats.
