Cultivation System

Battle Qi is the core energy cultivated by warriors below the Saint Realm. Its quantity and eruption strength are decisive in lower-level combat, while its accumulation also gradually strengthens the user's body. 32 40

• Commoners without powerful Battle Qi manuals rely on basic body-tempering methods from childhood. 1
• Talent establishes a cultivator's natural ceiling; ordinary people generally cannot break through Level 6 through diligence alone. 1 2
• A Level 9 warrior represents the mortal peak of Battle Qi cultivation. Reaching its full limit is a prerequisite for entering the Saint Realm. 3 45

Saint Realm Role

Battle Qi remains valuable after a warrior enters the Saint Realm, though it is generally less important than comprehension of Mysteries.

• Energy output — A stronger body permits a warrior to erupt a larger proportion of their Battle Qi at once, increasing offensive force. 22
• Endurance — Karl continues cultivating Battle Qi because it improves sustained combat ability and supports the growth of his Saint Body. 32
• Defense — Battle Qi can combine with the physical body to resist attacks; a defender need not match an attack with pure physical durability alone. 22
• Law utilization — Karl uses Battle Qi as a bridge to draw on the Momentum of Heaven and Earth and the power of the Laws in his sword attacks. 48
• Limitation — At the Saint Realm, years of Battle Qi cultivation yield far less improvement than cultivation of the Momentum of Heaven and Earth or Mysteries. 28 32

Relationship to Physique and Mental Power

Battle Qi strengthens more than direct attack power.

• A Level 9 warrior's body is passively strengthened by Battle Qi until its pure physical power can rival a Level 6 warrior's Battle Qi eruption. 40
• A stronger body helps nurture greater Mental Power, while Saint Realm ascension further transforms the body and soul. 40
• Saint Realm physical strength does not inherently increase total Battle Qi reserves, but it allows greater simultaneous output and reduces the cost of attacks and defense. 22
• Karl's Saint Realm physique allowed him to ignore attacks from ordinary Early Saint Realm opponents through physical durability alone. 31

Auto-Cultivation System

Karl Talos' Auto-Cultivation System can cultivate Battle Qi automatically, allowing him to surpass the limits of his originally mediocre aptitude. 1 3

Combat Applications

Battle Qi Eruption

Battle Qi may be released explosively for attacks or used to counter an incoming attack with equivalent energy. 22

• A Saint Realm warrior's body limits how much Battle Qi they can release at once. 22
• Karl's Saint Realm body lets him unleash approximately thirty percent of his Battle Qi in a single attack, compared with roughly ten percent before his physique upgrade. 22
• Higher output does not automatically guarantee victory; an attack must exceed the opponent's offensive or defensive power to deal residual damage. 22

Wind-Enhanced Sword Attacks

Karl combines Battle Qi with his Wind Element comprehension to execute attacks far beyond ordinary Saint Realm techniques. 48

• His Battle Qi acts as the bridge through which he leverages the Momentum of Heaven and Earth. 48
• His strikes can contain the power of thousands of Wind Element strands rather than requiring thousands of physical sword swings. 48
• This method allowed Karl to kill the Saint Realm warriors Ul and Yelu with one sword strike each. 48

Limitations

• Battle Qi cultivation is constrained by physical aptitude and, before the Saint Realm, is subject to a hard mortal limit at the peak of Level 9. 1 45
• Saint Realm Battle Qi accumulation becomes increasingly inefficient compared with Law and Mystery comprehension. 28 32
• Large reserves alone do not create a proportional increase in strength once a cultivator reaches the Saint Realm. 28
• Battle Qi is less effective than Mysteries in determining the gap between Peak Saint Realm experts. 23 28
