Ch. 21Zijing

Zijing told Lincoln how she became a Chief God, revealed the origins of her relationship with Leisijing, and recounted the deaths of two former Chief Sovereigns. After their conversation, Lincoln thanked her and left Hell to return to the Chainis Plane.

  • Lincoln asked Zijing whether Leisijing was her biological son, and she explained that he was her younger brother, born from the Amethyst Jade Marrow, whom she had raised as her son.
  • Zijing told Lincoln that she had refined Pontos's Sovereign Spark and explained why she had once owed the Four Divine Beasts a favor.
  • Zijing revealed that the former Chief Sovereign of Light and Thunder Sovereign Leiaolangduo had both died, describing how Orf killed the former and how Leiaolangduo died after entering a Material Plane.
  • Zijing explained that Hullei fled to his home Material Plane, acquired Leiaolangduo's Thunder Sovereign Spark, and became the strongest of the Law Sovereigns.
  • Lincoln thanked Zijing, invited her to visit the Darkness Divine Plane and the Chainis Plane, then left Hell through the Spatial Turbulence to return to the Chainis Plane.

Ch. 22Testing

Vivian used Zijing to test Lincoln’s interest in refining more Sovereign Sparks, while Lincoln continued traveling with Aier through the Water Divine Plane. They reached Feihong Island and decided to stay for the upcoming Prefecture Lord challenge, though Lincoln remained wary of seeking help from the Four Divine Beasts.

  • Vivian told Zijing that she had asked her to point out the benefits of refining more Sovereign Sparks to Lincoln, and admitted she hoped he was not interested.
  • After Vivian left, Zijing spoke fondly to the Amethyst Cub, while Lincoln returned to the Chines Material Plane and resolved to wait for a safer moment to break free.
  • Lincoln and Aier traveled by Sea King Class toward Feihong Island as passengers discussed the worsening conflict between the Valeria Clan and the Redding Clan.
  • Lincoln and Aier talked about having a child and approaching the Four Divine Beasts, but Lincoln decided they should wait until he was stronger.
  • Lincoln suggested that he and Aier settle on Feihong Island for a while and watch the Prefecture Lord challenge scheduled for the following month.

Ch. 23Milotic

Lincoln and Aier visited Feihong Island, where a Milotic scale and stories about the rare divine beast led Lincoln to consider how its bloodline awakening resembled the Four Divine Beasts Clan’s Ancestral Hall Baptism. The chapter left them watching Prefecture Lord Leidolina face Athos, the Iron-Tail Sea Spirit, on the island’s dueling platform.

  • Lincoln explained that Feihong Island was famous for its delicious Feihong Fish and Fish Pellets, which helped people comprehend the Mysteries of Water Elements.
  • Aier found a beautiful scale in a shop, and the shopkeeper said it came from a Milotic, a rare divine beast that had once been an ordinary Clownfish.
  • Aier bought the scale for ten thousand Black Diamonds, and Lincoln began thinking about Milotic’s bloodline awakening and the talents of divine beasts’ descendants.
  • Lincoln explained that Milotic’s transformation into a god resembled how members of the Four Divine Beasts Clan gained power through the Ancestral Hall Baptism.
  • After buying a courtyard and asking about Clownfish, Lincoln and Aier watched Leidolina, the Prefecture Lord of Feihong Prefecture, face Athos on a dueling platform.

Ch. 24Prefecture Lord's Battle

Leidolina and Athos fought for the Prefecture Lord title, with Lincoln and Aier watching as Athos revealed a hidden trick. Leidolina recovered from his surprise attack and exposed that he had used Fog Illusion to evade her Soul-Devouring Green Light, leaving their painful history unresolved.

  • Leidolina and Athos exchanged taunts before Athos charged her while she used her whip to hold him back.
  • Athos transformed his legs into a fish tail and repeatedly struck at Leidolina, but Lincoln told Aier that Leidolina was holding back.
  • Leidolina's whip released green specks, and Athos shielded himself before collapsing under the effects of her attack.
  • Leidolina moved to finish Athos, but he sprang up and struck her with his tail, weakening her aura.
  • Leidolina quickly recovered and revealed that Athos had used Fog Illusion to avoid her Soul-Devouring Green Light, then mocked him for remembering their past pain.

Ch. 25Lincoln, Paragon?

Lincoln intervened when Leidolina attacked Athos with Sovereign's Might, defeated her, and healed Athos, revealing himself as a Paragon High-God. The Azure Dragon Sovereign, Leiding, then appeared, and Lincoln greeted him calmly.

  • Leidolina used Life Sovereign Power to torment Athos, but Lincoln flew into the arena and knocked her away with one blow.
  • The spectators recognized Lincoln as a Paragon High-God and cheered as he used Life Sovereign Power to heal Athos.
  • Athos woke with a weakened soul, and Lincoln offered to take him along and help him.
  • Leiding, the Azure Dragon Sovereign, appeared before the arena, and Leidolina explained that Lincoln had stopped her from killing Athos.
  • Lincoln told Leiding that he had come to travel and had not thought to visit.

Ch. 26The Four Divine Beasts

Lincoln arrived at a Prefecture Lord challenge and revealed that he stood on equal terms with the Sovereigns, while the Four Divine Beasts and Water Chief Sovereign gathered around him. After Vermilion Bird killed Leidolina for offending a Sovereign, Lincoln left with Aier and Athos, and the onlookers realized he was a Sovereign too.

  • The Four Divine Beasts appeared and discussed Athos's strength with Lincoln, who said he planned to take Athos away rather than let him serve as Prefecture Lord of Feihong Prefecture.
  • Vermilion Bird killed Leidolina for offending a Sovereign, leaving the onlookers terrified and Lincoln reflecting on the danger of the Sovereigns' power.
  • Valeria invited the group to visit her, but Lincoln declined, and the Sovereigns departed after Leiding asked him to share any discoveries from his research.
  • Lincoln took Aier and Athos away in his Metal Lifeform, while a Druid warned the witnesses not to tell anyone what they had seen.
  • Aier asked Lincoln about the Sovereigns, and he explained that they were the Four Divine Beast Sovereigns and the Water Chief Sovereign.

Ch. 27The Sovereign Who Passed Away

Lincoln explained the Four Divine Beasts Clan’s history while considering who the Four Divine Beasts might have killed to become Chief Sovereigns. He learned that the Azure Dragon Army was capturing Milotic to harvest their blood and bodies, and suspected the practice was connected to Leiding and the clan’s Ancestral Hall Baptism.

  • Lincoln told Aier and Athos how the Four Divine Beasts had become friends, risen to Chief God status, and spread their clan across the Divine Planes.
  • Lincoln considered which Chief Sovereign the Four Divine Beasts might have killed and decided not to pursue Palhouse while his Water Divine Clone was weaker.
  • Athos revealed that the Azure Dragon Army captured Milotic and drained their Quintessence Blood after they awakened their bloodline.
  • Athos begged Lincoln to save the Milotic clan, explaining that the Azure Dragon Army captured each Milotic within a few years of birth.
  • Lincoln suspected Leiding controlled the Azure Dragon Army and that the Milotic’s special talent might be tied to the Four Divine Beasts Clan’s Ancestral Hall Baptism.

Ch. 28The "Sin" of Beauty

Lincoln questioned Athos about his escape from Leidolina and offered to protect him in exchange for help investigating his bloodline. After Lincoln traveled to the Wind Divine Plane, he sped away from the teleportation array, leaving the Qingya Army soldiers stunned.

  • Athos told Lincoln that Leidolina had kept him as a tortured pet for over a hundred thousand years, but he eventually escaped and became a Highgod.
  • Lincoln warned Athos that the Azure Dragon Sovereign, not merely the Azure Dragon Army, was his real enemy and that even reaching Paragon would not let him defeat a Sovereign.
  • Athos offered to serve Lincoln, and Lincoln promised protection and a chance to free the Milotic and Clownfish clans if Athos helped investigate his bloodline.
  • Lincoln arrived at Wind Shore Path on the Wind Divine Plane, where Qingya Army soldiers described the Divine Artifacts lining its cliffs.
  • Lincoln flew away at extraordinary speed, astonishing the soldiers, as he sought to cultivate another element after reaching Paragon in Darkness.

Ch. 29Challenging a Paragon

Lincoln went to the Wind Divine Plane to spar with Teresia and learn from the Wind Paragon’s command of the Laws. After their battle began, Lincoln challenged Diya to a match using their Chief God avatars.

  • Lincoln searched the Wind Divine Plane for Teresia and asked him to spar while the other Chief Gods watched.
  • Teresia agreed to fight Lincoln’s Wind Divine Clone at Vast Peak, where the Chief Gods gathered to observe.
  • Teresia restrained Lincoln with Wind Space, but Lincoln weakened its force by opening a spatial rift; Teresia then urged him to stop relying on environmental tricks.
  • Lincoln agreed to fight at close quarters without tricks, while Diya criticized his approach and challenged him to a match between their Chief God avatars.
  • Lincoln accepted Diya’s challenge.

Ch. 30Progress

Lincoln sparred with Teresia to study how the Dimension, Sound Wave, and Music Mysteries could fuse, and his breakthrough produced a powerful attack that harmed both body and soul. He still failed to become a Paragon, leaving him aware of how rare that final step was.

  • Miror intervened when Diya confronted Lincoln and suggested Teresia help Lincoln advance through a spar, while the Wind Sovereigns speculated about Lincoln's strength.
  • Teresia surrounded Lincoln with clones and attacked him using Dimension Blades and soul-piercing music as Lincoln tried to understand how the Mysteries could fuse.
  • Lincoln realized how sound, dimensions, and souls interacted, then played a jade-green flute whose melody disrupted Teresia's attacks and destroyed his clones.
  • Teresia recognized that Lincoln's flute melody combined soul and physical attacks and chose not to interrupt his insights.
  • Lincoln's insights ended without the Laws of the World descending, and he concluded that he had not become a Paragon as he considered how few Paragons existed across the laws and edicts.

Ch. 31A Million Years

After nearly a million years, Lincoln remained in the Chainis Plane while his Divine Clones traveled the Material Planes. Pusluo arrived with another Highgod to visit Lincoln, as Frodo watched them head toward the Azure Sea.

  • After the Sovereigns praised his battle with Teresia, Lincoln returned to the Chainis Plane and sent his Wind Divine Clone traveling in search of a breakthrough.
  • Nearly a million years passed as Aier and his Divine Clones traveled through Material Planes while Lincoln stayed in his home plane.
  • The Chainis Plane’s guardian, Frodo, saw the teleportation array activate and two Highgods arrive from the Fire Divine Plane.
  • Pusluo criticized Brock for changing the Plane Warden and brought his companion to pay respects to Lincoln.
  • Pusluo and the other Highgod flew toward the Azure Sea, while Frodo wondered why Pusluo had left his work spreading the faith.

Ch. 32The Envoy's Trial

Lincoln gave Bobo a trial for the vacant Sovereign Envoy position, requiring him to defeat a Prefecture Lord and providing him with equipment and limited support. He then returned to his research, where Athos supplied Milotic Quintessence Blood and spoke of his people’s oppression by the Azure Dragon Clan.

  • Pusluo introduced Bobo to Lincoln and recommended him as a Sovereign Envoy, citing his talent and rapid progress.
  • Lincoln offered Bobo a trial: defeat any Prefecture Lord to earn the envoy position, or face the likely consequences of failure.
  • At Pusluo’s advice, Bobo chose a Material Defense Sovereign Artifact, and Lincoln gave him a black breastplate and Main God Token while ordering Pusluo to share half his Sovereign’s Might.
  • Lincoln returned to his Divine Plane to study divine beasts, their abilities, reproduction, and bloodline awakening.
  • Athos gave Lincoln a bottle of his Quintessence Blood and lamented that the Azure Dragon Clan’s breeding and slaughter had reduced the Milotic to raw materials.
  • Lincoln told Athos that the Four Divine Beasts Clan had many enemies and promised that the Clownfish and Milotic would one day be free.

Ch. 33Research

Lincoln tested a new bloodline-awakening crystal on a two-horned magical beast, but the attempt failed. The story then shifted to Lincoln and Aier attending a royal engagement banquet, where Earl Moken’s daughter Themis confronted Aier.

  • Lincoln combined Milotic's Quintessence Blood with another divine beast’s blood and prepared an Awakening Crystal for his experiment.
  • Lincoln placed the crystal in the Cocooning Pool with a two-horned beast, but its aura weakened and the awakening failed.
  • Lincoln and Aier attended the Putuoluo Empire’s engagement banquet after building Aier’s trade association into a major continental power.
  • Aier offered Earl Moken medicine for his absent wife, prompting his daughter Themis to make a hostile remark about Aier’s wealth.
  • Earl Moken apologized for Themis and introduced himself to Lincoln, while Aier continued greeting the empire’s nobles.

Ch. 34A Strange Engagement

Lincoln and Aier watched the delayed engagement ceremony for Princess Themis and a reluctant young warrior, whom they recognized from an encounter in the Magical Beast Forest. The bound groom appealed to them for help, and Lincoln asked Aier whether she wanted to intervene.

  • Earl Moken warned Themis that Aier was powerful and suggested Lincoln was a Saint-level powerhouse, while Lincoln secretly strengthened Themis's constitution.
  • At the banquet, Aier asked Lincoln about holding a grand wedding, and he agreed while saying they should wait for a better opportunity.
  • The princess and groom failed to arrive at the appointed hour, and the queen delayed the ceremony with a riddle contest and gifts.
  • An old man brought the struggling, bound groom into the hall, and Lincoln and Aier recognized him as the warrior they had met in the Magical Beast Forest.
  • Aier called the royal family's treatment of the groom disgraceful, and Lincoln asked whether she wanted to help him.

Ch. 35Engagement and Marriage

Lincoln and Aier attended the Putuoluo princess’s wedding, where Lincoln exposed the coercion behind the ceremony and confronted Aofen Lido. Aofen recognized them as Deity-level powerhouses but prepared to fight, believing they were newly ascended gods.

  • Aier told Lincoln she wanted to help Teluzake because he had once helped them, while the princess suffered from being rejected in front of the nobles.
  • The king announced that Aofen Lido would preside over the wedding of Robin and Teluzake, prompting surprise and objections from the guests.
  • Aofen arrived amid a violent gale, and the court knelt before him while Lincoln and Aier remained standing.
  • Lincoln knocked two nobles unconscious after they rebuked him, frightening the guests and revealing that Aofen could not sense the pair with his Divine Sense.
  • Aofen apologized for failing to welcome the two Deity-level guests, but Lincoln condemned the forced marriage and challenged Aofen.
  • Aofen warned Lincoln not to mistake his courtesy for weakness and secretly contacted an old friend for support.

Ch. 36Discipline

Lincoln and Aier revealed their Deity-level strength at the banquet, killing Aofen and Heris after Aofen threatened them and Heris came to his aid. They left the Walun Plane with Teluzake, who had drawn their attention by possessing a Deity-level legacy treasure.

  • Aier reassured Earl Hoken but warned the nobles’ fear grew as Lincoln captured the arriving Light Element Low-God Heris and Aofen begged for mercy.
  • Aofen accused Lincoln of refining a Mid-level Sovereign Spark and blamed Teluzake for withholding a legacy treasure, so Lincoln killed him and Aier took his God Spark and spatial ring.
  • Heris pleaded ignorance, but Lincoln killed him with a soul attack; Aier then put Earl Hoken in charge of the merchant guild on her behalf.
  • Lincoln freed Teluzake and told him to follow, then he and Aier boarded a Metal Lifeform with Teluzake and headed for the merchant guild headquarters.
  • Aier explained that she and Lincoln had been traveling through the Material Plane in secret and thanked Teluzake for prompting them to reveal themselves and help him.

Ch. 37Teluzake

Teluzake told Lincoln and Aier how Grandpa Mebis had rescued and cared for him before dying from soul poison, and explained why Aofen was pursuing the legacy Mebis left him. Teluzake offered the legacy in exchange for becoming their disciple, and Aier agreed to inspect the spatial ring before they answered.

  • Teluzake explained that Aofen had been pursuing Grandpa Mebis's legacy and had turned his teacher against him while trying to force him into a marriage.
  • Teluzake recounted how Grandpa Mebis had rescued him as a starving child, nourished his body, and later returned as a weakened Highgod.
  • Teluzake told Lincoln and Aier that an enemy had poisoned Mebis's soul, and that Mebis had given him his spatial ring before dying.
  • Teluzake offered Mebis's wealth and asked Lincoln and Aier to take him as their disciple so they would protect him from Aofen.
  • Aier agreed to inspect the spatial ring before deciding, while she and Lincoln planned to show Teluzake a greater fortune and decline to take him as a disciple.

Ch. 38Destiny's Gift, Once Again!

Lincoln and Aier discovered a Life Sovereign Spark among Mebis’s hidden treasures, though neither could use it. Lincoln accepted Teluzake as his disciple and planned to use the Spark as leverage to search for the missing Thunder Main God Spark.

  • Teluzake recovered Mebis’s spatial ring from beneath a crooked tree and brought it to Lincoln and Aier.
  • Aier and Lincoln inspected the ring and found a Life Sovereign Spark among Mebis’s wealth.
  • Lincoln asked Teluzake what Mebis had told him, and Teluzake recalled instructions to cultivate Life Magic and become a god independently.
  • Lincoln accepted Teluzake as his disciple, promised to train him, and sent him to study Life Magic.
  • Lincoln considered trading the Life Sovereign Spark to Sovereigns who might know where the Thunder Main God Spark was held.

Ch. 39The Past of the Sovereign Sparks

Lincoln considered how to locate the remaining Sovereign Sparks and planned to seal the missing Thunder Sovereign Spark in a Material Plane. After Aier became pregnant, their son Daniel was born, and Lincoln worried that he might lack the talent to become a Deity.

  • Lincoln learned that Vivian held the unclaimed Life Lesser Sovereign Spark and Lesser Fate Sovereign Spark, while a Thunder Element Low-Sovereign’s Spark remained missing.
  • Lincoln concluded that the Thunder Sovereign Spark was held by a Sovereign without a Thunder Divine Clone and decided to seal it away in a Material Plane.
  • Lincoln supported Teluzake with Sovereign’s Might and Divine Artifacts after his disciple’s cultivation stalled at the Six-Star Fiend level.
  • Aier told Lincoln that she was pregnant, and Lincoln decided they would remain on the plane until their child became a Deity.
  • Aier gave birth to an ordinary human boy named Daniel, whose bloodline held hidden power.
  • Lincoln worried that Daniel might lack elemental affinity and talent for the laws, leaving him unable to become a Deity on his own.

Ch. 40Daniel

Lincoln sought Saint-level magical beasts to serve as Daniel’s playmates and guards, then captured Azure Sparrow after killing the Nine-Headed Snake. He explained the paths of godhood to Azure Sparrow, who asked for a treasure to strengthen its soul.

  • Lincoln agreed with his wife to find magical beasts for Daniel and planned to send their son to the Warrior Academy when he turned six.
  • Lincoln went to Muyun Forest and found the Five-Colored Peacock Azure Sparrow fighting the Nine-Headed Snake Emperor, Snooker.
  • Lincoln used God's Domain to immobilize both beasts and killed Snooker with water-type divine power.
  • Azure Sparrow submitted to Lincoln and agreed to become Daniel’s companion and guard.
  • Lincoln explained Internal and External Godhood and warned Azure Sparrow against refining a God Spark.
  • Azure Sparrow asked Lincoln for a treasure that could strengthen its soul.
