Revenge Came to an Abrupt End

"Lincoln, I'll kill you!" Black was only a Paragon High-God; he had no way to rescue his Divine Clone from the Spatial Turbulence. And he wasn't a Sovereign Envoy, either. If he asked a Sovereign for help, he'd not only owe them a favor but also reveal that he'd been humiliated and banished by someone who wasn't a Paragon.

As he watched the spatial rift gradually close, Black's voice faded away. The sneer on Lincoln's face vanished, and he thought, I only hope you come looking for me... I've already arranged everything for you. Hurry up and find out where I am!

Then Lincoln picked up Percy's Thunder Element High Godhead. "Percy, I used you. To make it up to you, I'll have a Sovereign Envoy go to your home Material Plane in the future and help teach and protect your brothers and family." He paused. "That should make up for the way I've been subtly influencing your mind for the past few centuries."

After putting the Godhead into his spatial ring, Lincoln flew toward the teleportation array without looking back.

Ten days later, a terrifying presence crossed a thousand miles in an instant and arrived at the Darkness Mountain Range. Seeing the peaks shattered by countless attacks and sensing his Death Divine Clone receding farther and farther away, Black erupted with rage. Dark Divine Power burst forth, leveling the home where he'd lived for countless years.

"Arrrgh! Lincoln, how dare you humiliate me like this!"

Once he calmed down, Black began wondering what Lincoln's purpose had been. It made no sense for him to offend a Paragon over an ordinary Highgod, yet no matter how hard Black thought about it, he couldn't figure out Lincoln's true motive.

"I have to kill Lincoln first, or I'll be laughed at for the rest of my life!" After weighing his options, Black made up his mind. If the Sovereigns and other Deity-level experts found out first that Lincoln had banished him, that stain would follow him for the rest of his life, even if he later killed Lincoln. But if he killed Lincoln first, he'd retain enough dignity to ask a Sovereign to intervene.

"I heard Lincoln is the Life Sovereign's Sovereign Envoy. I'll ask Obike and find out where Lincoln is!"

Obike was also the Life Sovereign's Sovereign Envoy, a powerful expert who cultivated the Death Rules.

On the Chainis Plane, Lincoln's Dark Sovereign Clone sat in front of the Cyan Light Jade Wall. Sensing that his Light God Clone had returned to the plane, he became even more vigilant and used Sovereign's Might to scan the entire Material Plane.

Besides Aier, there was one other Deity-level expert.

The other Sovereigns can't come to the Chainis Material Plane, so I don't need to worry about that...

Ten years passed in a flash. During that time, when the Saint-level experts once again discovered that a newly ascended Deity-level expert had suddenly died, all the Saint-level Limit experts rushed to the Supreme Plane and the Divine Planes. But without help from a Plane Warden, their destinations were entirely random.

That day, the Plane Teleportation Array lit up again, and a black-haired man in black robes appeared within it. It was Black.

"Obike said Lincoln was born on this Material Plane and had lived here for the past million years, rarely leaving. I hope he's bold enough not to have fled! Where did the Plane Warden go? I wanted to ask him a few questions, but he isn't here. Never mind. I'll just scan the whole plane with Sovereign's Might!"

Thinking this, Black immediately used Sovereign's Might to scan the entire Material Plane and easily found Lincoln's Light Divine Clone in the Azure Sea.

"This is the Infinite Zone?! But how can it be this powerful?" Black thought in shock. Suddenly, he looked up and saw Lincoln appear before him at an incomprehensible speed, stopping ten meters away and floating there in silence.

How could he move so fast? Black was shocked again. "Lincoln, what did you use to do that?"

Lincoln had no intention of wasting time answering.

Before Lincoln could reply, Black's eyes widened as he realized the truth. It was a Sovereign—only a Sovereign could have such power. But how could there be a Sovereign here? How could Lincoln be a Sovereign? He'd deliberately tricked Black into coming here!

As a Paragon High-God, Black knew better than anyone how one became a Sovereign. He'd also heard that a few Sovereigns could travel to certain Material Planes. But why was it here?

Before Black had a chance to speak, a White Giant Python a thousand meters long appeared behind Lincoln. It had an exceptionally graceful body, and as it moved, its scales reflected Seven-Colored Light. A Rainbow Scale sat in the middle of its forehead, and seven colors shifted constantly in its eyes before finally settling on black.

The python opened its jaws toward Black, revealing three rows of jagged teeth above and below, and unleashed its Innate Divine Ability: "Whale-Swallow Silkworm-Eat!"

Black was utterly powerless to resist. The gap between a Sovereign and a god was simply too vast—even a Paragon High-God was no exception. Black's eyes dimmed as his soul was extracted directly from his Godhead and swallowed whole by Lincoln.

The Innate Divine Ability vanished, and Black died. The soul aura of Lincoln's Sovereign Clone had grown extremely weak, but his expression was delighted. He sat quietly like this for a hundred years. All of Lincoln's Divine Clones except the Fire Divine Clone kept watch beside the Sovereign Clone, waiting quietly for him to awaken while constantly consuming Sovereign's Might to replenish his soul power.
