The second Saint-level Magic Beast was a Unicorn, possessing both Thunder Element and Light Element affinities. Faced with Lincoln's mix of coercion and enticement, it naturally agreed with alacrity.

However, when Lincoln presented the choice of rewards, it chose the Divine Spark without a moment's hesitation; no amount of persuasion could change its mind.

"Walter, are you truly content with becoming a High-God who can never progress further?" On the way back, Azure Sparrow couldn't help but ask Walter.

"Azure Sparrow, you are still too young. You don't know the feeling of despair that comes from cultivating with all your might yet never seeing any improvement, of knowing your talent has hit a wall," the Unicorn Walter recalled with great pain. "I possess the bloodline of a Saint-level Magic Beast, reaching the Saint-level upon adulthood. I wasn't even a hundred years old then, but now, I have been at the peak of the Saint-level for nearly twenty thousand years. Before the Lord came to find me today, I was hesitating whether to go to the Heavenly Realm. I hoped to change my fate of stagnation there. If I had waited a moment longer, I truly would have left!"

Twenty thousand years without progress—Azure Sparrow couldn't even imagine it. It was only one hundred and fifty years old, all told.

"Everyone has their own choices," Lincoln said, riding on the horse's back with his eyes closed to rest. "Walter, even if you go to the Heavenly Realm and are lucky enough to become a God, so what? You wouldn't know how many tens of thousands of years it would take to become an ordinary High-God. Refining a Divine Spark does indeed prevent further progress, but for you, its ceiling is likely far higher than the ceiling of you becoming a God independently. Furthermore, it is far more likely that you wouldn't survive a single day in the Heavenly Realm."

"The Supreme Planes and Divine Planes are all places filled with slaughter. You must at least become a Demigod to have even a shred of human rights."

Six years later, in Soto City, a mischievous child sat on the shoulders of a tall man, shouting incessantly, "Giddy-up! Giddy-up! Uncle Walter, can we go a little faster?!" Beside them, a Colorful Chicken followed, flying slowly at a low altitude.

"Daniel, if you want to go faster, you'd better hold on tight!" With that, Walter bent his knees slightly and exerted force, bolting into the distance like a thunderbolt and kicking up a massive cloud of dust, leaving the Colorful Chicken dumbfounded as it was pelted with dirt.

"That Walter! The Master told us to look after the young master, but all he knows is how to curry favor with him, running around all day!" It hurriedly flapped its wings to catch up.

These two people and one bird were none other than six-year-old Daniel, Walter—who had already refined a Thunder Element Demigod Divine Spark—and Azure Sparrow, who was still at the Saint-level. Azure Sparrow's size was not large to begin with, and it had merely disguised itself as a colorful mountain chicken, which was less eye-catching than a peacock. The purpose of their trip was the Solotoni Warrior Academy, where Daniel would have many brothers and friends, eventually growing into a man.

Meanwhile, by the side of Rainbow Lake, Lincoln watched Daniel depart, observing him with his Divine Sense, still unable to fully set his mind at ease. His attention then shifted to his Sovereign clone.

In Hell, at the Mirror Moon Cliff Plane Teleportation Array, a flash of light appeared, and the Darkness Element Lincoln emerged. After a brief observation, he smiled, "Mirror Moon Cliff again. It seems I am fated to be here."

His Divine Sense spread instantly toward the Blue Prefecture of the Blood Peak Continent. "Hmm, not here?"

Lincoln had come to find the Four Divine Beasts, but he wasn't surprised they weren't there. He controlled his Divine Sense to cover the entirety of Hell. In an instant, every Sovereign residing in Hell was startled.

"Lincoln, what are you doing in Hell?" Uterede's voice rang out from the depths of the Sea of Chaos.

Lincoln felt nearly twenty Sovereigns drawn by the stimulation of his Divine Sense. He straightened his posture and said, "Lord Uterede, I have come to find Leiding and the others. There are some matters I wish to consult them about, but I just discovered they are not in Hell."

"A rare guest, Lincoln. It's hard to see you come out once in a while. Don't just hole up in the Material Plane; come to the Star Fog Sea for a chat when you have time." Uterede did not speak again; it was Xingyi who spoke.

"Lord Lincoln, Leiding and the other three should all be in the Water Divine Plane. They have spent most of their time there for these past few hundred thousand years!" Pashi's voice rang out. As a Sovereign of the Blood Peak Continent, he had a better grasp of the Four Divine Beasts' movements.

"Thank you, Pashi," Lincoln said gratefully. "Lord Xingyi, I have urgent matters with the Four Divine Beasts, so I will visit you another time."

After the exchange via Divine Sense, Lincoln revealed his Main God Token and re-entered the teleportation array, saying, "Water Divine Plane!"

On Ten Thousand Waves Island, one of the three major islands of the Water Divine Plane, the surroundings were shrouded in storms year-round, making travel extremely difficult. Yet, this was the location of one of the three teleportation arrays of the Water Divine Plane, so a large number of travelers were often stranded there.

Lincoln emerged from the teleportation array again, his Divine Sense locking onto a direction and spreading toward Tianqing Island, the base of the Azure Dragon Clan in the Water Divine Plane. However, as he extended his Divine Sense, he discovered that the Sovereign public chat channel of the Water Divine Plane was already open.

"Leiding, you have gone too far! I have tolerated you in the past, but this time, your Four Divine Beasts clan actually conspired to surround and kill my Sovereign Envoy for the sake of a Mid-God, and you even humiliated him to the extreme. You truly do not hold me, the Water Chief Sovereign, in any regard!" Valeria's bright voice echoed, filled with immense fury.

To a Sovereign, the death of a Sovereign Envoy was of little consequence; one could always find another. But humiliating a Sovereign Envoy carried the implication of provoking the Sovereign. After all, unlike the soldiers and legion commanders of the Sovereign Army, a Sovereign Envoy was a powerhouse personally selected by the Sovereign and, to a certain extent, served as the Sovereign's public face.

"It was just a Sovereign Envoy, Valeria. You are making too much of a fuss," Nimo's explosive voice rang out as usual. "My juniors only had a private conflict with him; it is impossible to say they were disrespectful to the Chief Sovereign."

"That's right, Lord Valeria. There is no need to bring the affairs of some little Deity-level fellows to our Sovereign level!" White Tiger Ersi added.

Valeria was exceptionally angry, but the other Sovereigns of the Water Divine Plane were afraid to offend either side and dared not chime in.

"What has happened, Lady Lucy?" Lincoln's Divine Sense turned to ask a Water Element Mid-Sovereign, only to find her with another Water Element Demigod Sovereign, Wot.

"Why have you come, Mr. Lincoln? It is just some friction between the Four Divine Beasts clan and the Valeria Clan. The Chief Sovereign is a bit angry and is looking for the Four Divine Beasts to reason with them!" Lucy explained.

"The Four Divine Beasts clan has been too overbearing these years. My own Sovereign Envoys and legion commanders have reported it several times. I hear they are also constantly expanding in the Earth, Wind, and Fire Divine Planes, giving no face to other Sovereigns. But this time they went too far, deliberately humiliating and killing a Sovereign Envoy that the Chief Sovereign valued highly. She could no longer endure it," Wot added.
