Fortunately, their king was someone who accepted advice.
After his proposal at noon, Aleister Eldritch accepted his subordinates' remonstrations and rescinded the orders he had issued in a moment of impulsiveness.
But Aleister Eldritch's period of calm lasted only until three in the afternoon.
At that time, Number One was released once more and sent him a distress signal.
And so Aleister Eldritch could no longer hold back.
He knew he had to do something. Even if he had to abandon everything they had built up during this time, he had to rescue Number One!
So, before his subordinates, he demonstrated what "the majesty of the Demon King" truly meant.
He overruled all objections and, as dusk arrived, launched this all-out assault without any prior buildup!
Aleister Eldritch's subordinates were also forced to display their loyalty to their king. Though unwilling in their hearts, they still did their utmost to prepare the magical beast tide.
Before dusk, however, another event caught them completely off guard in the Free City.
The Free City's lord convened an emergency meeting, summoning eighty percent of its administrators into an administrative building.
Then the Free City's purge began in a manner so fierce that they had never imagined it possible.
When they realized that their plans stood on the brink of collapse, they finally agreed from the bottom of their hearts with Aleister Eldritch's plan to attack the city.
