Jacob Bloom and Duke Kelvin lived next door to each other. Jacob had just opened his door to head to the Cafeteria for a meal when he suddenly saw Duke Kelvin rush over like the wind. With two sharp clicks, Duke unlocked his door and charged into his room.

"Hey!" Jacob Bloom called out instinctively. Duke Kelvin poked his head out from the doorway and asked in confusion, "What is it, Jacob?"

Jacob Bloom stared at him, baffled. "No, I'm asking what's wrong with you. What could possibly be so urgent?"

Duke Kelvin suddenly understood. "Nothing, just writing a paper." With that, he abruptly pulled his head back, slammed the door shut, and rushed toward his desk. Jacob Bloom even heard the sound of the lock clicking into place.

"Writing a paper, my ass!" Jacob Bloom muttered.

He then turned around and locked his own door, heading toward the Cafeteria while pondering what exactly Duke was hiding.

When he finally reached the Cafeteria, Jacob Bloom suddenly noticed that the atmosphere inside was rather strange.

There were far too many people coming and going through the Cafeteria at this hour. And no matter where they were seated, they all seemed to be looking toward the same spot.

"What's going on here?!"

First Duke Kelvin's abnormal behavior, then the strange atmosphere in the Cafeteria—Jacob Bloom immediately became wary.

He merely picked up a tray out of habit and joined the line to order food.

There were many people moving about in the Cafeteria, but only a few in the queue. Jacob quickly reached the counter and finally couldn't resist asking the Halfling chef, "Ma'am, what are they doing over there?"
