Professor Sylph got straight to the point. "We have also inferred that their disappearance is very likely inextricably linked to Hermes, the [God of Commerce, Travelers, Thieves, and Livestock]."
"Hermes..." Bellamy Artemis said gravely. "While we have made the same conjecture, you should possess more information related to him. I only want to know: how likely is this conjecture to be correct?"
The Moon Elf High Priestess's question was clearly rather aggressive.
Yet Professor Sylph sensed the same urgency within it that she herself felt. "Eighty percent."
"Eighty percent... meaning there is still a twenty-percent chance that it is wrong?" Bellamy Artemis pressed.
Professor Sylph nodded. "But we conducted experiments. We can confirm that they were not in mortal danger during the initial period following their disappearance."
Bellamy Artemis paused slightly. "Even if Hermes truly took them away, that does not mean they are absolutely safe. And Hermes's motive is questionable."
"High Priestess Artemis!" Professor Sylph's tone abruptly sharpened as she spoke. "That is precisely why we
