Ch. 341The Natural Water-Space Beast God
Plot and key events
- Su Ke investigates the mysterious Teng Snake and learns from Palace Master Fanhai that it was Shuiming, a deceased Natural Beast God embodying the fused laws of water and space. Natural Beast Gods are immensely powerful, but their rare, valuable remains made them targets for other beings.
- A year later, Eloy emerges from the star’s palace with her Ten Thousand Star Clone greatly changed. She explains that the God Kingdom belonged to a powerful follower of Teng Snake and contained an inheritance site intended for beings of Teng Snake’s kind.
- Eloy absorbed Teng Snake’s Origin Essence Blood, raising her clone’s Life Gene Level from roughly 3,000 times to over 9,800 times. She then studied the Seven Transformations of Teng Snake on a Sacred Stele, gained a major improvement in her law comprehension, and opened Tengshe Palace.
- Inside, she acquired a water-space Beast God Inheritance Token and a small Teng Snake statue. Su Ke recognizes that the token could let him enter the Ancestor God Secret Realm, while the realm may also help Eloy find material for creating two additional clones.
- Eloy studies the statues and inheritance further. Su Ke takes some of the Origin Essence Blood to test how much his own human body can absorb, hoping it will also aid the Mother Nest of All Things’ research.
Character developments and interactions
- Su Ke’s curiosity about Teng Snake develops into practical interest: its legacy offers a possible route into the Ancestor God Secret Realm and a valuable resource for his research. He is cautious about assuming Eloy’s results will apply to him, since compatibility and gains vary by species.
- Eloy makes a major leap in strength and comprehension, and the discoveries confirm her exceptional affinity for Teng Snake’s water-space path. She shares the blood and explains her findings to Su Ke; the two enjoy her success and plan around what the inheritance may offer.
- Palace Master Fanhai provides Su Ke with crucial background, while Eloy’s own account connects the ancient history to the present discoveries.
Significant themes
- Power and predation: Natural Beast Gods are born extraordinarily powerful, yet their priceless bodies make them vulnerable to collective hunting.
- Inheritance and affinity: Eloy’s growth comes from a legacy suited to her nature—blood, diagrams, statues, and token all reinforce the same path.
- Discovery through patience and study: Her year of contemplation turns an ancient inheritance into improved understanding and access to further secrets.
- Opportunity balanced by uncertainty: Su Ke gains access to a rare resource, but its effect on him is unknown and may be limited by his body’s compatibility.
