The three men hiding elsewhere, waiting for the monster horde to wear Fang Yi down, looked utterly incredulous when they heard that.
"He knows where we are?" The Goshawk Squad captain clutched his earpiece, his expression complicated.
The other two members cursed in confusion.
"Fuck, how did that guy find us?"
"Charlie, didn't you hit him? You couldn't even wound him?"
"No. That guy knows when I'm aiming at him and keeps dodging. He's incredibly fast, so I haven't had a chance." The sniper sounded helpless.
"How is that possible? He may have some kind of enhanced vision. There's no point hiding anymore. We attack together!" the Goshawk Squad captain ordered.
At once,
the three men emerged from hiding and, guided by their teammate's directions, charged straight at Fang Yi.
"Hm? They came right out. Looks like they're going to try to kill me by force."
As Fang Yi watched them charge, Helan came to a stop and casually controlled his shield, knocking a Beast General away.
At that moment, many of the surrounding monsters were focused on him.
After the three men charged out, some monsters didn't even bother with them. A few noticed a human attacking nearby, but those men quickly dealt with them.
The rest of the monsters kept charging toward Fang Yi.
"Rat-a-tat-tat-tat!"
One of the Goshawk Squad members produced a machine gun and fired continuously at Fang Yi.
Fang Yi hurriedly controlled his shield, reinforcing it with some Spiritual Force to block the bullets.
The bullets struck the shield, scraping against it and throwing off sparks, while Spiritual Force deflected the rest of the rapidly fired rounds.
"Ah!!!"
A man on his left brought down a heavy blade. Fang Yi's eyes flicked as he dodged sideways, then immediately threw a punch.
The man reacted quickly, turning his blade to block.
Though the blade stopped the punch, Fang Yi's terrifying impact still sent him flying toward the stone wall at the edge.
"Fuck!" he cursed.
As Fang Yi pulled his fist back,
a Flying Knife came at him from behind. Fang Yi immediately swung a fist, knocking it off course and sending it toward the edge.
He then glanced at his fists. The Fist Armor was already marked with blade scratches.
"A Psychic Master?"
Fang Yi looked toward a bearded white man.
The Goshawk Squad captain gave a cold snort, his eyes full of wariness. Then, in heavily accented Chinese, he said:
"Heh, I'm nothing special. I only awakened recently myself. I didn't expect you to be a Psychic Master too. No wonder you dared to enter the Demon Cave alone and hunt this Primary Lord Monster—and even managed to kill it."
"I admit you're strong. You even killed one of my men... But you've just fought a Lord Monster and cleared out a huge swath of the horde. You can't be in great shape now, can you?"
The Goshawk Squad captain narrowed his eyes.
He lightly licked his lips, controlling a Flying Knife to return to his side as greed spread across his face.
He also cut down an Advanced Beast Soldier monster that had fixed its attention on him.
Quite a few monsters still crowded around them.
The scene was extremely chaotic.
"Please step away from my spoils first. Then... die!"
The Goshawk captain immediately controlled his Flying Knife to circle and attack, then drew a Blood Shadow War Blade from his waist and charged in right behind it.
Fang Yi controlled his shield to block the other man's machine-gun fire.
He first knocked the approaching Flying Knife aside, then leaped out of the way of the captain's slash. But the Goshawk captain suddenly changed the angle of his blade, swinging it with a speed as fierce as thunder.

After only one exchange, Fang Yi recognized that the other man was using the Nine-Layered Thunder Blade.

Fang Yi had no plans to train with weapons for the time being. For one thing, weapons weren't his strong suit. For another, he wanted to lay a foundation for what came later.
The human body was the most fundamental thing, and the hardest to separate from oneself.
The body itself was a weapon.
It had fists, elbows, legs, knees, and even the head and teeth.

Fang Yi's fists were now more like shield-shaped weapons attached to his body.
Even after several exchanges, the Goshawk captain still couldn't inflict any significant damage. Fang Yi handled each attack with ease and even managed to counterattack!
He casually knocked back and killed a Beast-General Rank monster that charged at him again.
After every few exchanges, both sides had to make time to clear away the monsters around them.
Then they resumed fighting.

The Goshawk Squad captain also turned toward his teammate as he swung his blade, demanding, "Charlie, what are you doing?"
Then they saw a Goshawk Squad member lying beside the sniper's position.
A long blade had pierced his forehead.
Two people stood beside the corpse. One of them held a sniper rifle, aiming in their direction.
The wounded Goshawk Squad member and their captain both stared in shock.
They recognized the two men. They were from the squad they had encountered earlier while fighting over the Red Crystal Horned Deer. They had planned to kill them to silence them, but the squad had run too fast for them to catch up, so they'd had to give up.
They never expected them to come back instead of leaving the Demon Cave.
"Damn it!"
While the Goshawk Squad captain was distracted, Fang Yi's fist was already on its way.
The captain hurriedly blocked it, but the blow still left his hand numb.
The War Blade nearly slipped from his grasp.
The other Goshawk Squad member had been beaten so badly that both his hands trembled uncontrollably, and he could no longer hold his blade. But Fang Yi had sent him flying too far away, so he decided to deal with their captain first.

"You? A useless mid-level War General, and you think you can take my life?"
The Goshawk Squad captain quickly pivoted and swung his blade to block the spear thrust.
At that moment,
the scene was chaotic.
Everyone there had to fight their own enemies while also fending off monsters attacking indiscriminately.
Fang Yi frowned at the sight. Looks like the Goshawk Squad has been tormenting other Martial Artists behind my back too...
Fang Yi said nothing more.
