At Clan Leader Gali's urging, he clutched the Mysterious Crystal tightly in his hand. Powerful currents of Wind-style Divine Power slowly flowed into his body, filling him with a pleasant sense of ease.
"You only need to drip some blood on it, and it'll merge with you. Only then will you experience the Mysterious Crystal's true power."
Clan Leader Gali reminded him.

Garen took a deep breath, then gently pricked his finger. A drop of blood fell.
A drop of blood landed on the Mysterious Crystal.
The Mysterious Crystal seemed to come alive, instantly forming a connection with Garen.

With a whoosh, it shot into the air above Garen's Sea of Consciousness.
"Boom!"
As the Mysterious Crystal entered, Garen felt his Sea of Consciousness surge. In mere moments, his Soul Power had increased tenfold.
It felt just like when Garen's soul had mutated.
"This... is incredibly powerful."
With his Soul Power now ten times stronger, his Soul Attack had finally reached the level of a Seven-Star Fiend's. Although it was his Wind-style Divine Clone that had absorbed the Mysterious Crystal, Garen's soul mutation meant the increase in Soul Power wasn't limited to that clone. His Fire-style Divine Clone had grown stronger as well.
This had made up for his biggest weakness: his soul defense.
Garen also felt that the Wind-style Divine Power he could now summon was purer, and much easier to control.
He didn't need to use Fused Divine Power at all. His Wind-style Divine Power alone had now reached the purity of a High-level God's.
Unfortunately, Fused Divine Power required an even balance. If one side was stronger than the other, the fusion barely improved it. Otherwise, its purity could have increased tenfold.
Overall, his Divine
