The Black Tortoise Grand Elder had no time to pay Garen any mind. After killing another powerful member of the Barbary Family, he continued searching for his next target.
"What's going on? Did you and your brother already take care of the Barbary Clan Leader? Why have I only seen one Asura from the Barbary Family?"
Garen was baffled.
"No. From the moment we got here, we haven't seen the Barbary Clan Leader. There's only one Asura in the family."
The Black Tortoise Grand Elder was just as confused.
Of course, Garen and the others didn't know that ever since their team had killed an Asura from the Bolin Clan and two Seven-Star Fiends,
the Eight Great Clans' leaders had held a meeting. The Barbary Clan Leader had proposed seeking reinforcements from the various powers in the Infernal Realm, so the Bolin Clan Leader had sent him out to recruit them. He had left the Azure Prefecture long ago.
When the Four Divine Beasts Clan attacked, the Barbary Family was at its weakest.

Even as he died, the Asura had been thinking of his Clan Leader's return and revenge. He didn't know that when the Barbary Clan Leader next heard news from the Azure Prefecture, he wouldn't dare return.
By now, the powerful members of all four clans were being slaughtered by the Four Divine Beasts Clan.
