Garen and Beirut left the Graveyard of the Gods together.
Somewhere in the depths of the South Sea.
"Garen, you have good talent, but remember: becoming a god is only the beginning. You still have a long road ahead of you. Don't grow arrogant or complacent."
Beirut lectured him.
"Yes, Lord Beirut."
"Good. Go back and take some time to understand the changes that come with becoming a god. You have great potential, so make the most of it. Don't go astray."
Beirut waved his hand dismissively.
Garen didn't want to linger, either. He quickly flew toward the surface. Countless tons of seawater parted on their own, and soon he burst out of the sea.
"This boy realized the Fusion Profound Mysteries while still in the Saint Realm. His talent really is exceptional. What a pity, what a pity."
In Beirut's plan to create Sovereigns, he had already taken the Wind-element Sovereign Spark for himself, and had also chosen someone for the Fire-style one. That person was a peerless talent, though even by Beirut's standards, Garen was beyond reproach.
But there was no Sovereign Spark left for Garen, so Beirut had only encouraged him and hadn't offered any guidance on cultivation.
Flying over the boundless South Sea, Garen felt wonderful. He was much more at ease now that he'd left old Beirut behind.
Being around a supreme powerhouse like Beirut was uncomfortable. Even when Beirut didn't deliberately release his aura, Garen could still feel an invisible pressure.
"Bebe's probably the only one who can't sense how terrifying old Beirut is."
Now that he'd become a god, Garen wondered what the System Panel looked like, so he opened it.
