Tang San arrives at Notting Academy with Old Jack, but the gate guard questions the authenticity of his certificate because it lists Blue Silver Grass alongside Innate Full Soul Power. Tang San quietly prepares a Silent Sleeve Arrow before Yu Xiaogang intervenes and confirms the certificate is genuine. 19

Yu Xiaogang identifies Tang San as a Twin Martial Soul possessor from the contradiction between his Blue Silver Grass and level-ten innate soul power. Impressed by Yu Xiaogang's martial-soul knowledge, Tang San formally kneels and accepts him as his teacher. 20

Upon entering Dorm Seven, Tang San refuses to accept Wang Xian as its boss and easily throws Wang Sheng aside when challenged. He then fights Wang Xian himself, using Tang Sect movement and grappling techniques, but is restrained by Wang Xian's thorned vines and defeated. 20 21

Following the loss, Wang Xian's system captures what it identifies as Tang San's Blue Silver Emperor Martial Soul. Tang San experiences a brief, unexplained discomfort afterward, as though something had been tugged from deep within him. 21 22
