There was a kind of giant cat called the Sealed Giant Cat. It belonged to the wondrous alternate-image type of Cat Lamp and was also a demon cat. She could seal off a stretch of space and keep it secret, while splitting off ultra-miniature Cat Lamps to serve as "keys."
Making use of the Sealed Giant Cat's traits, Jiang Han had built an enormous laboratory atop the crown of the Giant Cat Tree. Strangely enough, from the outside, the laboratory appeared to occupy only about as much space as one of the giant cats' balls of yarn.
The laboratory's rest area was a lounge with an ornate wooden door and Victorian-style decor.
Exquisite brass clocks and machinery, a marble fireplace, magnificent and delicate chandeliers; heavy curtains and false windows added a hint of early nineteenth-century European Baroque style. There was gilt solid-wood furniture and a heavy dragon-hide carpet.
A ripple of distorted light and shadow passed through the room, and the entrance to a deep tunnel appeared in the carpet.
Then, a bright lamplight emerged from within the tunnel.

Jiang Han appeared at the tunnel entrance carrying a lantern. Inside it was a duplicate of the Sealed Cat Lamp—an "ultra-miniature Cat Lamp"—so the lantern's interior had been furnished as a cozy little Cat Lamp nest.
Following behind her was Miss Qiao Rou, still dressed in a swim dress and white tights.
The Witch Agency's clerks had already come to treat this outfit, made for enjoying swimming and soaking in baths, as formal wear. They were living a cheerful life where "every day was camping."
The moment Qiao Rou entered, she marvelled at the exquisite wood carvings around her.
"What a comfortable lounge."
She looked over.
"So? Should I put the materials here?"
