Over the next week, Jiang Han shuttled back and forth between the Cat Lamp Observation Base in the upper Void and the camp vehicles at the Good Sisters Cup. No matter what she did, she had to be prepared.

This was a creed that had gradually awakened in her after becoming a Witch, as well as a warning buried deep within her heart. So rather than eagerly confirming the location and then dragging Du Lingxuan over—the one who had provided the coordinates and was currently lying on a cat-nest blanket in front of her, squinting in the sun and snoring, "Meow! Aoo aoo aoo~"—she held herself back.

Jiang Han glanced at the sun. Its gentle light made her feel as though her skin would start itching if she basked in it. This was the afternoon sun; by a Witch's body clock, it was roughly equivalent to three or four in the morning for land-dwellers. The thought of herself working hard overtime while some cats lounged around, sleeping blissfully in such pleasant sunlight, filled her with murderous intent toward cats!

She reached out and pressed a hand against Du Lingxuan's belly.

It was warm, soft, and tender-skinned, with an excellent feel to it.

Jiang Han could not resist stroking it twice more. Then she stood up and pulled a cat lamp with golden fur, a white belly, and dark circles under its eyes out from among the cat tails.

It was satisfyingly heavy.

She rubbed the cat lamp and praised it, "Fat cat."

The cat lamp shook its soft, slender tail.

"Meow aoo!"

Jiang Han lifted the cat lamp, aimed it at Du Lingxuan's pale, tender belly, gauged the force, and brought it down hard.

"Meow aoo aoo aoo aoo!"

Beep beep... thump thump...

The sound of flushing.
