The tracks were not a straight line. After following them for a while, she came upon a place resembling a retro dungeon. The chaos of the Dead Magic Zone extended all the way here.

Staring at the bricks she had half dismantled, she calmly stuffed them back into place.
This was merely a Dead Magic Zone. Even magical items brought inside would become inert.
She had originally wanted to see whether the pieces would still be cubes after being pulled off.
After resting briefly and drinking some water, Jiang Han perked up again. Her legs, clad in Martin boots, took long strides as she almost jogged ahead to explore.
After scouting the surroundings, Jiang Han finally found traces of the Ratfolk.
A lantern hung inside a small mine shaft, a candle burning within and adding a touch of life to the deserted underground.
This certainly looked like Ratfolk territory.

Using her cat tail, she cleared away the traces of her approach and the glowing scale dust.
