Cat Kakkasha, one of the battle-tested Storm Giant Cats, was an elegant gray-furred older sister in human form. She hammered the table with both hands.
Across from her sat Cat Vinidra, another battle-tested Storm Giant Cat Lamp, a blue-haired older sister in human form. Eyes wide and tail standing straight up, she showed no regard whatsoever for sisterly Giant Cat affection as she slapped Cat Kakkasha straight into the council table with one paw.
"Cats are stronger!"
"Meow-ao, meow-ao, but in terms of sheer strength..."
One of Cat World's mature and steady Star Giant Cats—a stunningly built, two-meter-tall older sister in human form—leaned forward and said airily, "...there is a little cat from our tribe currently drifting through the Milky Way in search of food, if Lady Angelite is willing."
The cats had all gone mad.
They were practically about to start fighting over a spot beside Angelite!
Seeing Angelite's slightly troubled expression, Jiang Han smiled and flicked her tail. "Jiebao, take a look around yourself first. I'm going to buy some curios."
"Eh..." Angelite drawled, propping her cheek up with one hand. "You won't keep me company?"
"Nope."
Jiang Han slipped out of the Cat Assembly Hall. She spotted another pair of battle-tested Giant Cat Lamps arriving together, both still in human form. One was rather short, and judging from her cat ears and tail, she was a battle-tested cat lamp among the Pharaoh Giant Cats. The other was a battle-tested Big Orange Giant Cat Lamp whom even Jiang Han felt like poaching. Big Orange Giant Cat Lamps were already formidable enough; battle-tested ones were the Cat World's super thugs.
Meow-ao-ao, normally even if this cat visited their cat dens three times, these cats would refuse to come out of retirement, meow-ao.
Now Angelite had merely
