All-People Witch 1994 totaled 4,102,388 characters. Not a single day of missed updates. I brought it to an end with a perseverance I never believed I possessed.
For a moment, my heart was filled with a thousand thoughts, yet I didn't know what I ought to say.
In truth, I never expected to write this much myself.
At the beginning, I only thought: I'll write a short story of 500,000 characters.
Then it became: I'll finish it at 1.5 million characters.
At the very end, even today, I was still thinking: Should I write a little more? Should I expand it a little further?
But I still chose to end the story from 1994 to 1997.
First, I believe the flaws and mistakes in this clumsy work of mine have reached a point even I can no longer bear...
Second, I truly am exhausted from writing, and need some time to reorganize and consolidate my settings and background story to a certain extent.
Lastly, as a novel written without an outline, it has reached a point where it can no longer move forward.
I know the risks of choosing to finish it now—especially the risks I'll have to take when I try a new world and a new story in my next book—but life is like this. Cat Lamp's life has also been a life drifting with the current.
