What did a Witch need guns for?
Walking down the street, Jiang Han found herself pondering that question. Witches really did not like using weapons; they rarely even carried wands. If it was to deal with people with ill intentions, wouldn't it be better to rely on the trigger traps on her body?
Tap, tap...
A Witch in combat gear passed beside her, the sound of her high-top boots slightly crisp. Jiang Han was close enough to hear it on the street. She widened her eyes and watched the Witch disappear through the door of a shop, whose name was simple and blunt:
[Song Family Alchemy Hall]
There was another plaque beside it: "A century-old establishment, undertaking all alchemical needs—processing, modification!"
The wooden wall beside the plaque was plastered with little notes: "Buying all kinds of rare materials at high prices." "Hunting licenses, custom A2 exam permits." "High-speed driving instructor position available, guaranteed pass." "Clap for love—give money to the adorable Witches who cannot even afford clothes! Flower Capital Club."
Wasn't this just like the little ads from my past life... Jiang Han eyed the last one suspiciously.
"How could a Witch possibly be unable to afford clothes?"
She shook her head. Ignoring those nonsense advertisements, she pushed open the shop's wooden door and entered, curiosity in tow.
The moment she opened the door, Jiang Han shivered. A cold draft struck her head-on. It seemed shops run by alchemists were all icy and refreshing, using low temperatures to preserve fresh monster materials.
They were displayed in glass cases made of ice: hearts from various dragons, tentacles, livers, and, naturally, distinctive Witch eggs.
As she walked over, Jiang Han saw the expected high prices and origins. Two photographs had been placed above them, respectively labeled:
Mother of the father's clan, mother
