Using her tail to constantly drive the cat lamps away, Jiang Han felt like a kindergarten teacher, with dozens of different "meow-ao" cries echoing through her head until she nearly crashed. The subject language had shifted from Witch Tongue-Chinese to Cat Lamp Tongue-Meow Chu.

Because of the unknown dangers inside the mine, she had no choice but to use all her strength to hold back the curious cat lamps, batting them away with her paws and tail. This was even harder than one person trying to stop dozens of cats on Earth from sniffing catnip! The cat lamps could float, and they could suddenly extinguish the light on their bodies and sneak in...

"Meow-ao, you can't go in! It's dangerous in there—there might be something that kills cats..." Jiang Han waved her little paws helplessly, once again grabbing a cat lamp that was about to slip into the pit by the scruff and tossing it into the air.

After this stalemate continued for a while, she realized that the cat lamps had finally quieted down. One slightly larger cat lamp squeezed out from among them. It had cat ears covered in long fur, a fluffy tail, and longer hair all over its body. It was probably some kind of Persian cat variant cat lamp, with a pair of green cat eyes that made it seem smarter than ordinary cat lamps.

But in Jiang Han's eyes, it merely "seemed smarter than ordinary cat lamps." Truly clever cat lamps would have long since seen that danger lay hidden in this mine, with no opportunities to be found. Bad cats and foolish cats always made up the greater share of cat lamps.

The Persian cat lamp swayed its fluffy tail and settled onto the ground, its body giving off a cool, comforting glow.
