Background / History
Olivia was the foremost Great Witch before Eileen’s era and one of the three universally acknowledged greatest witch pinnacles. The period before her rise is referred to as the Era of Olivia; her strength, technical maturity, and magical power surpassed what earlier generations had considered possible. She became the first witch to establish the Chief Great Witch as a world-overlord position. Historical accounts portray her as cruel, ambitious, warlike without being reckless, and politically formidable. 454 1164
Known as the former Shadow Witch, Olivia ruled from the Shadow Grand Cathedral. She granted audiences only when she chose, using Shadow Cat Lamps to open passages through shadows; otherwise, she could disappear for days at a time. Her secrecy, incorruptibility, and intelligence network made her exceptionally difficult to approach or read. 739
After a long period of slumber, folklorists unearthed Olivia roughly one or two centuries before the present story. At her return, she remained incomplete and continued pursuing her Giant Cat Lamp evolution. 454 584 712
Olivia later revealed that she consumed a powerful fortuitous encounter and split into nine Sleeping Cat Lamps. These incarnations share knowledge through the Infinite Cat Rights Law, though Olivia does not distribute all of her knowledge freely. 632 1130
Appearance
Olivia is a tall, exceptionally beautiful black-haired witch with a languid, feline bearing. In human form, she stands around 1.8 meters tall and moves with startling silence and agility. 586 943 1026
- Long black hair; her recovered magic can create stellar phenomena within it. 634
- Black eyes and sharply defined features. 586
- Large starry-black cat ears and a long cat tail. 1358
- Usually wears dark clothing, including black dresses and full bodystockings. 1025
- Often favors a refined, restrained “mourning attire” aesthetic. 1026
- Her formal mage robe is off-the-shoulder, crowned and decorated with numerous black ribbons. 1430
- Has an extensive collection of clothing, perfumes, and jewelry. 1479 1491
Personality
Olivia is proud, aloof, and difficult to predict. She dislikes excessive socializing, considers Eileen’s “elite” aura unpleasant, and initially believes that companion or hierarchical relationships are sufficient for witches. Her interest in friendship develops only gradually through Jiang Han. 1026 1478 1488
Despite her mature appearance and immense status, Olivia is openly catlike: she sulks when ignored, demands attention, becomes greedy over food and ice cream, and can throw destructive tantrums when embarrassed or frustrated. She enjoys teasing, provoking others, and accepting transparent attempts to coax her because being pleased matters more to her than exposing the manipulation. 943 1060 1101 1597
Her loyalty is genuine. Olivia values loyalty as a form of faith among Cat Lamps, protects her community’s interests, and recognizes Jiang Han as a reliable witch trusted by the Giant Cat Lamps. She is also notably kind to young witches and willing to teach or reward those she considers worthy. 739 774 879
Abilities & Skills
Supreme Spellcasting and Close Combat
Olivia is an ancient-era prodigy whose fighting style combines rapid spellcasting, melee pressure, physical strength, and overwhelming magical firepower.
- Can switch between fast and slow casting rhythms, making her attack tempo difficult to learn or counter. 697
- One of the most renowned melee witches; aside from Eileen, few witches can contend with her in close-range weapon combat. 697
- Possesses extraordinary physical qualities and reaction speed, considered the finest among witches. 789
- Can force close-range exchanges with tail techniques, spell swords, transmutation, and enchantments. 1532 1550
- Her historical fighting style involved anchoring all eight tails to charge power before beginning an unavoidable exchange of fire. 1430
Nine-Tailed Cat Form
Olivia’s Nine-Tailed Cat Form is her defining competition form and one of the most dangerous tools available under ITWF rules.
- Processes up to fifty simultaneous lines of thought, giving her exceptional battlefield calculation and reaction capacity. 1532
- Uses nine tails for spellcasting, close combat, and dimensional-cannon bombardment. 1550 1596
- Overwhelmed Alesha and then baited Lin Zhaojun’s decisive counterspell with a shadow-transformation substitute before finishing her with Tail Sword Technique. 1532
- Is considered nearly invincible under ITWF rules after Olivia mastered it. 1445
- Can still be countered by superior preparation and deception; Angelite defeated her through reverse psychology and an automatic-spellcasting trap. 1596
Cat Lamp Style
Olivia’s Cat Lamp Style is an all-in summoning and explosive-opening strategy.
- Summons five Giant Cat Lamps at once, nearly exhausting her mana. 1596
- Detonates Heavy Cat’s Giant Hammer, producing a destructive opening compared to an N+1 legendary-spell bombardment. 1596
- Destruction Maniac restores mana based on the explosion’s power, allowing her to retain roughly half her mana after the opening. 1596
- Opponents can respond with anti-summoning spells, Fear effects, or rapid Cat Lamp clearing. 1596
Shadow Arts and Intelligence
As the former Shadow Witch, Olivia commands shadow-based mobility and an extensive Cat Lamp intelligence network.
- Shadow Cloak can dispel control states, grant stealth, move alongside another person, and provide damage immunity. 623
- Uses Shadow Cat Lamps to create shadow passages and summon chosen visitors to her former cathedral. 739
- Her Cat Lamp network produces exceptionally detailed dossiers, including opponents’ histories, factions, and possible spell lists. 774 1083
- Can gather and assess competitive intelligence for Jiang Han, then provide tactical analysis. 772 775 1060
Boons, Divination, and Teaching
Olivia can bestow powerful boons and teach specialized Cat Lamp techniques.
- Granted Alesha a Legendary Boon that provided Microscopic Vision and enhanced eyesight. 712
- Granted Jiang Han Marrow Fluid Boon, greatly improving her spell manipulation, and Misfortune Boon, briefly allowing her to perceive and influence fortune. 713
- Taught Jiang Han the Divination Meditation Method to adapt to her enhanced talent. 713
- Shared a secret technique of the Cat Lamp lineage after Jiang Han earned her trust. 810
- Was the first known witch to discover how to filter Abyssal power, using a Giant Cat Lamp to carry the cursed power. 1579
Resilience and Physical Power
Olivia’s combat durability comes from stacked resistances rather than evasion.
- Her Veil of Ghosts reduces damage through repeated void-power mitigation. 1430
- Her dragon blood grants ancient-dragon-level damage resistance and willpower immunity. 1430
- Her Giant Cat Lamp traits provide extreme physical strength; historical accounts credit her with pushing meteorites. 608
- When one of the nine cats is active while the others sleep, she can receive support from nine leyline currents, reaching nearly 90% physical resistance and 85% magical resistance. 771
- Her preference for direct exchanges leaves her susceptible to tactical traps, feints, and opponents who exploit her aggressive commitment. 1550 1596
Spatial Manipulation and Appraisal
Olivia uses space magic for both utility and combat preparation.
- Can compress space and create cat-golf terrain disks based on real locations, including Giant Cat Island and Jiang Han’s home. 810
- Her mage robe maintains Hostile Contact Spatial Lock, rendering spatial attributes ineffective against her. 1430
- Holds A2 certificates for anomalous-item appraisal, material appraisal, and occult valuation; also possesses A3 certificates, an appraisal-notarization office license, and anomalous-item craftsman certification. 709
- Revised an eighth-level spell on the academic network shortly after encountering Eileen’s Eight Schools system. 593
