The instant she broke the surface, before Jiang Han could even exhale, she felt an inexplicable wave of panic.

Pondering that sense of palpitations, she expertly slapped the water twice with her tail, using a Cat Lamp rapid-travel technique to dart twenty or thirty meters through the air in one breath.

Before she could react further, a massive black shadow suddenly appeared in her ice-blue eyes! Right beneath the water!

Then, an enormous tree burst into growth, piercing through the surface and reaching toward the sky!

Judging the distance, she hurriedly flicked her tail to accelerate her retreat. She fled nearly two hundred meters before reaching the top of the cat tree by the poolside, where she finally turned around to look. It was a colossal cat tree, more than three hundred—perhaps four hundred—meters tall. Its enormous boughs and leaves blanketed the entire pool, truly making this pond look like a pond.

Its leaves, colored like the four seasons, were beautiful and luminous.
