Jiang Han squeezed out through the crack, slipped all the way into the cage lowered by the crane tower, then changed back into a Witch. Letting out a breath, she rubbed her cheeks.

Her skin felt a little cool to the touch. She figured it had to be because entering that base had cost her quite a bit of body heat.

They had the air conditioning on in there!

To counter Eileen's scorching mana residue, ordinary Witches had no choice but to rack their brains for ways to deal with it. After all, Witches did not much like places that hot.
