The cat lamps sprawled across the Cat Spider, patiently inspecting the enormous creature's body. But as the Cat Spider thrashed about, quite a few cat lamps were flung straight off.

Jiang Han clutched a bundle of soft, long fur beside her with all her strength, barely avoiding being thrown away.
The long fur on the gigantic Cat Spider was like a forest. Beneath it, its skin was soft flesh with a texture close to slime, slick beneath one's feet.
"Waaah, this cat... when we get back, I need to suggest that Master give her a thorough wash."
Covering her nose and mouth, Jiang Han shook her head uncomfortably.
Though Cat Spiders loved cleanliness, wild Cat Spiders did not have that much time to bathe. This one had probably found a flower field to roll around in, using nectar and fragrance to keep her fur dry and sweet-smelling.
The price was that all kinds of petals carpeted the flesh beneath her long fur, giving off an exotic scent so intense that even cats found it hard to bear.

The Gray Mist Cat Lamp landed on Jiang Han's head. She first stared at the giant cat lord covering her nose and mouth, then looked at the petals caught beneath the fur. After giving it a lightning-fast thought, she instructed the Big Orange Cat Lamp floating lazily over.
"Meow-ow, meow-ow! Hurry up and take out the cat hairdryer. Blow away this cat's flower blanket."
The Big Orange Cat Lamp's eyes widened.
"That uses a lot of power, meow-ow! And shouldn't cleaning things out from under a Cat Spider's fur be that Pharaoh giant cat's job? It's her Cat Spider. Cats can't be expected to clean it!"
