Maid Naya had left the room before the ice golem, and the ice golem that looked exactly like Kraken slowly turned its head toward the wardrobe. The false Eternal Ice Eye's gaze pierced through the thin slatted wardrobe doors and gave Jiang Han a meaningful look.
It made her skin crawl!
That look—it was as if she really were the true Kraken... Jiang Han was a little frightened herself.
Kraken pushed open the wardrobe door and jumped out. She reached out to steady the hand holding Jiang Han and helped her down, then commented on the ice golem:
"She'll help me take care of everything."
"When she encounters something she can't decide on, she'll send the issue to me through the Sea Siren network, and I'll handle it. Generally speaking, as long as it isn't overly difficult or complicated, she can resolve it herself."
"If there's a combat incident, she can easily deal with anything weak. If she encounters something powerful, I can possess her at any time and fight using roughly 4,000 mana, plus the reserved 20%."
"All in all, convenient, right?"
Jiang Han said sincerely:
"It has nothing to do with me."
Watching Kraken smile, Jiang Han quietly made her real assessment in her heart.
The ice golem was absolutely an extraordinarily powerful spell.
And it really was incredibly convenient. Sure enough, as long as mana values didn't create an overwhelming gap between witches, the number and variety of spells one possessed played a more decisive role... For example, an ice golem like this felt like an irresistible spell to me. In my spell system, aside from Flame Burst possibly being able to injure it, everything else would be of little use. I definitely couldn't beat this ice golem in a one-on-one fight... and I'm still a witch
