Glug glug glug glug...
Amid the bubbling, a rich herbal fragrance spread through the air.
This was an exceptionally comfortable nest, half-open to a mountaintop hot spring lake and a small garden. A huge mushroom had been fashioned into an alchemy room, furnished with an enormous cauldron and rings upon rings of ingredient shelves.
Above the nest, Jiang Han lay curled up in a cozy Burrow Bed, squinting as she slept soundly, a soft smile on her face as she rubbed her cheek against the pillow.
"Meow-ow." The Burrow Bed was huge and had two levels. Two Sleeping Cat Lamps lived on the upper level.
Vera Lamp stretched out a tiny paw and scratched at Jiang Han's belly. With a yawn, she meowed, "Time to get up, meow-ow..."
Olivia Lamp, meanwhile, curled herself up tight and sprang down from the second level with a flutter!
"Meow-ow!"
"Uwaaaaaah!"
Jiang Han let out a melodious wail as she clutched her stomach, her legs trembling.
A Sleeping Cat Lamp weighed dozens of times more than an ordinary Cat Lamp!
Olivia Lamp's whiskers quivered. "See that, meow-ow... That's what happens to silly girls who refuse to get up."
What an arrogant Cat Lamp! Jiang Han propped herself up on the bed, her lips trembling nonstop.

As she emerged from the nest's entrance, she happened to spot a messenger pigeon dodging the paws of three Cat Lamps. She casually chased the Cat Lamps away, pulled out a dollar to buy a newspaper from the pigeon, then clamped her thighs together and hopped toward the bathroom
