Land of Floating Specters...
Light flickered as the surrounding space trembled without cease. If not for the protection of the virulent power Ben Hong had transformed into, the disturbance would have been dozens of times greater.
Within it, two figures were locked in fierce combat.
The longer Sariel fought, the more alarmed he became. The kingdom power displayed by "Agulie" was almost inexhaustible; even now, it had not weakened in the slightest, no less than the power contained within his own pseudo-divinity.
In the instant his attention wandered, "Agulie" had already closed in, ignoring the scimitar slashing toward his shoulder and driving a fist straight at Sariel's chest.
Again! This madman! Sariel gritted his teeth inwardly. "Agulie's" attacks were utterly frenzied, and what was even more terrifying was that he attacked without defending at all. That momentum had actually suppressed even him. That black armor also seemed to possess some special defensive ability. His scimitar could only leave a slash upon it and could not break through it for the moment; moreover, as time passed, those marks would mend themselves.
But no matter how strong the armor was, there were places it could not cover. Besides, its defense against force was weaker than against sharp weapons. As long as the force was strong enough, even if it could not destroy the armor, it could still grievously wound—or even annihilate—the body within.
"Agulie" clearly understood this as well. Sariel's attacks had inflicted no light injuries on him, yet nothing changed. He still launched his attacks as though his life meant nothing.
"Don't get too full of yourself!" Having been continuously forced into a disadvantage, Sariel's anger flared. As a peak pseudo-god, he simply stopped dodging and began a purely offensive exchange.
He had not wanted to fight this way. Though he
